This used to be great, but over the past year I've noticed a lot more gristle and other inconsistencies. Today I found a sharp shard of plastic in the meat that wasn't part of the packaging. Never buying again.

Price was ok. Preparation was ok. The product itself was almost ok. The meat was fine, but the sauce was so incredibly sweet it made our teeth cringe. We added some hot sauce to it and that made it slightly better.

I love nachos in the fall and was looking for a way to level them up. Thankfully during a recent trip to Sam's club I spyed this produce and decided to give it a try. I love pulled pork but don't usually have time to make it so I was intrigued by Jack Daniels Pulled Pork. IT comes in two convenient packages and since it's pre cooked all you need to do is warm it up in the Toaster Oven. I loved the flavor of the sauce (I'm ore of a sweet sauce fan myself) and the smokiness of the pork. AND they were the perfect topper for my nachos and I will be definitely be using this product more frequently for my nacho creations

I grew up on a farm where we ate pork regularly, and even today I enjoy eating it more than most (I also enjoy an occasional glass of Jack Daniel's Whiskey). However, I was extremely disappointed in this dish. While the pulled pork looks to be good quality and is relatively lean, it is absolutely overpowered in a far-too-sweet and not-very-tasty sauce which in no way reminds me of the flavor of the whiskey. I will not buy it again.

Reviews caused me to try this for company; 6 people in all. They just picked at it eating very little of it. It didn't smell good and didn't taste good. I bought 2 lousy packages, and now I'm stuck with trying to either eat it or throw it away. Never again! Gave it 2 stars bc there was a lot of meat & bbq sauce. Knocked 3 stars off bc of the yuck taste.

Lots of chewy fat that should have been trimmed before packing. Kind of gross. I'd say only about 3/4 of the package was suitable for eating. The rest had to be spit out. Member's brand had a little more fat than I like, but much less than Jack Daniel's. Maybe I received an off batch both times, but not taking the chance again.

The sauce is way too sweet, with a citrus rind aftertaste. It actually spoils the flavor of the pork. Great pulled pork really doesn't need BBQ sauce, and certainly not this much. I did like that it came in 3 individual pouches, so you don't have to serve it all at once. Only I wish they made it more obvious on the label so I could have frozen them separately and kept some of the pouches in the freezer for later.

We were very excited to try this product for our party. Planned the whole party around the pulled pork. Opened up one package, there was so much fat and barely any meat. Tasted like nothing but fat and the sweet sauce they have on it, is so sweet just tasting it made us not use it. Really had high hopes for this pulled pork.

Thank goodness we bought a 1 pound package of this at Publix before we wasted our money on 3 pounds at Sam’s. This stuff is disgusting. All we could taste was sugar, I have no idea what the pork actually tastes like. Once again Sam’s has eliminated a wonderful product, Bryon’s pulled pork, and brought in something totally not acceptable. I had bought the Bryon’s for years. It was perfect and delicious! We threw out the left overs of this stuff. Would NOT recommend!!!!!

Love this extra large size, it's so good for making a meal or two out of. I just made a huge pan of pulled pork nachos with it. So much flavor and you don't have to do a thing but heat it up which can actually be done right in the microwave. Think tacos, nachos, and even salads.
