Way too sweet. If you like candied meat then this is perfect for you. Didn’t look at the nutritional info but I assume by the taste that it is 90% sugar. Doesn’t not have a smoke flavor nor does it have a Jack Daniel’s flavor. I don’t know what I was expecting from prepackaged bbq but the meat was mushy. It didn’t matter if you warm it in the oven or the microwave the taste was the same, soft (not in a good tender way) meat with the only flavor being the overpowering sweetness of sugary sauce. It came with 2 packages and after trying the first I threw the second package away unopened.

Stopped making mine - from scratch! No more cooking Boston butt for hours. Then eliminating the fat, shredding pork and adding bbq sauce. This is really good and… it comes in 2 separate pouches so you can keep one frozen for smaller portion. Hamburger buns, coleslaw and kids are happy and satisfied before they hit the beach!

This is terrible. It is more sugary than eating a spoonfull of brown sugar. The meat is floating in a pool of BBQ sauce and there are large chunks of pure fat. It didn't even seem like very much meat, there's no way it's 3 pounds. Make your own, pork is inexpensive.

I'm giving four stars because is not my type, but I really didn't pay attention to the brand name,otherwise I probably will give it a five stars. The meat is tender, there is enough sauce, but the sauce it really has the Jack Daniel's flavor! If you Like liquor in your BBQ you will like it. I prefer my Jack Daniels in my coke and a lot of ice.

After spending several years in Texas, I've come to appreciate the seasoning and cook of my BBQ before enhancing the flavor with sauce. My only complaint is that I have to squeeze out sauce from the pork to prevent any bread from dissolving or dealing with a puddle on my plate. That being said, this is a good product, the pork is tender, and the sauce flavorful.

Ever since I was a server at TGI Fridays in college, I have liked the taste of Jack Daniel's meats. When I saw this was at Sam's Club, I had to try it. We usually get this once every couple of weeks, or once a month. All of my family loves it, and the work is already done for you as far as meat prep and seasoning. We usually pair with Bob Evans mashed potatoes and frozen sweet corn, or add butter to canned corn. We have a family of 4, so we have leftovers, but it tastes good reheated too. I hope Sam's continues carrying this product!

I served this at a get together of friends. The buffet server was scraped clean. There was no need to doctor this in any way whatsoever. Four minutes in the microwave and you're ready to serve. We had Cole slaw, marinated red onions, French's onion crisps as toppers.

We serve this at parties because it is so easy (stays warm in a crock pot) and people love it. The sauce is delicious (very sweet, if that's a concern). We don't get as many servings from a pan as we should but probably load the pork more generously on the bun than necessary. We like hearty sandwiches!! We have mustard, pickles, and chopped onions available but many people prefer the pork as is because the sauce so good!

This is a family favorite at get togethers - I've been asked to bring this 3 times this holiday season. I put it in a crock pot - then brings dinner rolls for mini sandwiches and tortilla chips and cheese with other toppings if they choose nachos! Very versatile and so quick.

A little too sweet when eating alone or I would of given it 5 stars but still very good. Great for those who can't take much heat. It is also less noticeably sweet if eaten on a bun or with some toppings like pickles or cheese. If you want a spicer pulled pork then this is not the one you want
