Awesome quality soundbar
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my review of the Samsung Soundbar HW-QS730D It has a nice bass sound that isn't overwhelming. The subwoofer helps give it some of the deeper bass sounds that normally get lost. The sound from soundbar fills my average sized living room perfectly. Most of the controls can be done via the remote but having the smartthings app gives you more control for adjustments. The night mode is pretty good. I found that using the hdmi arc was best for sound quality for myself and my tv. Plus by using it that way when I turn my tv on or off the soundbar will automatically do the same. I have tried the wireless connect with my tv. Unfortunately my tv is too old for that and doesn't work with it. I can connect my Amazon Alexa and Chromecast to the sound bar. I can have the volume increase or decrease for the soundbar by using either of those two. I have not used the the game mode because I don't have a game system to use with it as of right now. I have not noticed any tinny sounds from the soundbar at all. I am very pleased with the quality of sound that this soundbar gives. I'm not an audiophile so this is my honest review on this soundbar.
Great Features and amazing sound quality

U can just feel the sound waves through your whole body like it's persing ur skin feelings wver sound drop of water grain of sand hit the ground the people breathing it's embraces the movie into ur soul. I would buy it just to see the new features they come out ever year. Would 100000% recommend in fact I would buy everyone a set.
This is a great speaker
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So, how close can a compact, lifestyle-oriented soundbar like the QS700F really get to matching the performance of a flagship model? Well, it turns out it’s close. You won’t get the full immersion or room-filling capabilities of something like Samsung's HW-Q990F—there’s just no getting around the lack of dedicated rear speakers and fewer drivers—but given its size and intended use, the QS700F still delivers an impressive performance
Good stuff
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Picked this up recently and honestly, I’m loving it so far. Setup was super easy — just plugged it in, connected to the TV, and the sub paired automatically. Whole thing took maybe 10 minutes. No messing around with settings or weird cables. Sound is really solid. Dialogue is super clear (no more cranking the volume just to hear people talk), and the Dolby Atmos actually adds depth — you can hear stuff happening above or around you a bit, which is cool. The bass hits nicely without being too much, and it doesn’t drown everything else out. I’ve been using it mostly for movies and YouTube, but music sounds great too. Bluetooth and Wi-Fi streaming work fine. If you’ve got a Samsung TV, it syncs with it using that Q-Symphony thing — sounds even better. What I like: Clean, punchy sound Clear dialogue Subwoofer thumps without rattling the room Super easy to set up Looks clean under the TV Minor stuff: No rear speakers, so don’t expect full surround Doesn’t support HDMI 2.1, but that’s only a big deal if you game at 120Hz Bottom line: Totally happy with it. Big step up from TV speakers and way simpler than setting up a full surround system. Would definitely recommend.
Strong Contender for Immersive Audio
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy on the Ears, Easy on the Setup: The Samsung HW-QS730D soundbar lives up to its promise of easy setup. I had it unpacked, connected, and synced to my TV in under 10 minutes, which is great for anyone who isn't the most tech-savvy. The option to use either HDMI or Bluetooth for connection provides flexibility. Sound that Fills the Room: Right away, the sound quality impressed me. The dialogue is crisp and clear, even at lower volumes. The subwoofer delivers powerful bass without muddying the overall soundscape, and there's a good level of control to adjust it to your preference. No matter what you're watching or listening to, the soundbar delivers immersive audio that fills the room. Whether it's the roar of a movie explosion or the subtle details in a music track, the HW-QS730D does a great job of bringing your entertainment to life. Geared Up for Different Content: The inclusion of multiple sound modes is a nice touch. Having dedicated settings for movies, games, and music allows you to optimize the listening experience depending on what you're using the soundbar for. Additional Features: The remote control is user-friendly with easy access to volume, bass, and subwoofer level adjustments. The inclusion of batteries is a welcome convenience. The soundbar also comes with wall mount hardware, making it easy to integrate it into your home theater setup. Overall: The Samsung HW-QS730D soundbar is a strong contender for anyone looking to upgrade their home entertainment audio. It offers a combination of easy setup, clear sound quality, and immersive Dolby Atmos experience, making it a great value for the price. Caveats to Consider: While the reviewer in me loves this soundbar, it's important to consider a few things. Since it's a 3.1.2 channel system, it might not offer the absolute most expansive surround sound experience compared to high-end systems. Also, some users might find the controls on the soundbar itself a little limited, relying more on the remote. That being said, for the price and user-friendly features, the HW-QS730D stands out as a great option for anyone looking to significantly enhance their TV's audio.
Unbelievable Clarity
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased my new Samsung surround sound system a couple of weeks ago. The system I had just wasn’t giving me the rich sound quality I was looking for. This system really delivers crisp, clear, powerful sound! Setup of the system was easy even though I’m not very tech savvy. It took me a few extra minutes to connect my remote with the system, but that’s on me. When I just followed the directions, I was up and rocking. It looks great under my tv and the subwoofer is under a table. I will be buying the speakers even though you don’t need them. The amazing sound quality well it surrounds you. I’m so glad I chose this Samsung system for my upgrade.
Powerful Sound Experience That Transforms Any Room
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used several sound systems over the years, but this Samsung sound bar and subwoofer combo exceeded all expectations. The setup was incredibly easy, and within minutes, I had immersive, theater-quality sound filling the room. The clarity of dialogue, richness of bass, and balance across highs and mids make this a standout product for movies, music, and gaming alike. The wireless subwoofer delivers deep, punchy bass that you can feel without overpowering the mids and treble. Whether I'm watching action-packed movies or listening to soft acoustic tracks, the audio profile remains consistent and dynamic. Another highlight is the adaptive sound feature, which adjusts the output based on the type of content being played—making quiet conversations clear without constantly adjusting volume. The build quality is sleek and modern, complementing any home setup aesthetically. If you're looking to upgrade your home entertainment experience, this sound bar and subwoofer are a phenomenal choice. The audio quality rivals far more expensive systems and brings out details I never noticed before. I highly recommend this to anyone serious about sound.
junk.
just got it in the mail. soundbar works but the sub dose not work. will not connect. did all of the troubleshooting steps. nothing. manuals are a joke. really expected better quality. pretty bad when vizo works way better and a quarter of the cost.
Hi mike, Thank you for sharing your review of Samsung’s HW-QS730D Soundbar. We’re sorry your experience didn’t match your expectations. Your soundbar and subwoofer should connect automatically when they are turned on, but you can also connect manually just as easily. When both soundbar and subwoofer are plugged in, they should begin to connect automatically. When the subwoofer is completely connected, the blue LED LINK indicator on the subwoofer stops blinking and glows continuously. If the blue LED does not stop blinking, the process has failed. For manual connection, after both soundbar and subwoofer are plugged in to a wall outlet, press and hold the ID SET button on the back of the subwoofer for at least 5 seconds. The red indicator on the rear of the subwoofer turns off and the blue indicator blinks. Press and hold the Up button on the remote control for at least 5 seconds. The ID SET message appears on the display of the Soundbar for a moment, and then it disappears. The Soundbar will automatically power on when ID SET is complete. Check if the LINK LED is solid blue (connection complete). The LINK LED indicator stops blinking and glows a solid blue when a connection is established between the Soundbar and the Wireless Subwoofer. I hope this helps with connecting your soundbar and subwoofer. For additional assistance, please contact Samsung Customer Support: 1-800-SAMSUNG (Ask for Soundbars), 8 AM – 12 AM EST, 7 days a week. Massive Improvement
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This soundbar blew my expectations out of the water. Before using this I mainly used TV speakers and was satisfied with them. With just a couple of days with this soundbar I am incredibly impressed and wished I invested into better speakers earlier. The subwoofer paired with the up-firing speakers in the soundbar adds a layer of depth to music and movies that makes them a completely different experience. The SpaceFit Sound Pro technology automagically analyzes the sound in the room and adjusts to it, removing the need to calibrate and making it truly plug and play. The audio while watching movies is much more clear and immersive. The remote is easy to use and has physical buttons! Some new remotes remove most buttons but this one makes it easy to use and simple for all members of the family to use. The sound this soundbar can produce louder than anyone could possibly need, making it perfect for rooms of all size! Overall, this soundbar is great with a modern design and easy to set-up. I would gladly recommend this to anyone looking for an upgrade to their TV speakers.
Boss. Sounds
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With my samsung TV I've been really enjoying my new soundbar from this series. The sound quality is a noticeable improvement over my TV speakers. It's easy to set up and use, even with the added features. The bass is powerful without being overwhelming, and the dialogue is clear. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase.
