[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my review of the Samsung Soundbar HW-QS730D It has a nice bass sound that isn't overwhelming. The subwoofer helps give it some of the deeper bass sounds that normally get lost. The sound from soundbar fills my average sized living room perfectly. Most of the controls can be done via the remote but having the smartthings app gives you more control for adjustments. The night mode is pretty good. I found that using the hdmi arc was best for sound quality for myself and my tv. Plus by using it that way when I turn my tv on or off the soundbar will automatically do the same. I have tried the wireless connect with my tv. Unfortunately my tv is too old for that and doesn't work with it. I can connect my Amazon Alexa and Chromecast to the sound bar. I can have the volume increase or decrease for the soundbar by using either of those two. I have not used the the game mode because I don't have a game system to use with it as of right now. I have not noticed any tinny sounds from the soundbar at all. I am very pleased with the quality of sound that this soundbar gives. I'm not an audiophile so this is my honest review on this soundbar.

The sound quality of this soundbar is like no other sound bar that I have tried before. have tried several soundbars because I’m big into music and movies. When this soundbar arrived I opened it up and connected it with my Samsung tv. I was really surprised at how easy it was to connect to my tv and get setup. All I needed to do was connect it my tv with the HDMI cable that was included. The subwoofer also connected to soundbar instantly after I plugged it in. I was also shocked that this sound bar came with a remote so that I could change the settings on it while watch tv/movies. I first listened to music on this sound bar because I really enjoy music while working around my house. I could hear the music that was playing very clearly in all rooms of my house. The songs that were playing had a good amount of base, this made the music that was playing sound amazing. I eventually got the opportunity to watch a movie on my tv and put this sound bar the test. The sound bar made it sound like I was at a high end movie theater. The sound bar played all the details of movies that I missed before when playing it with a previous sound bar that I had before. I would recommend this soundbar to anyone as the quality and sound that it plays is like none other.

Setup was super easy — just plugged it in, connected to the TV, and the sub paired automatically. Whole thing took maybe 10 minutes. No messing around with settings or weird cables. Sound is really solid. Dialogue is super clear (no more cranking the volume just to hear people talk), and the Dolby Atmos actually adds depth — you can hear stuff happening above or around you a bit, which is cool. The bass hits nicely without being too much, and it doesn’t drown everything else out. I’ve been using it mostly for movies and YouTube, but music sounds great too. Bluetooth and Wi-Fi streaming work fine. If you’ve got a Samsung TV, it syncs with it using that Q-Symphony thing — sounds even better. What I like: Clean, punchy sound Clear dialogue Subwoofer thumps without rattling the room Super easy to set up Looks clean under the TV Minor stuff: No rear speakers, so don’t expect full surround Doesn’t support HDMI 2.1, but that’s only a big deal if you game at 120Hz Bottom line: Totally happy with it. Big step up from TV speakers and way simpler than setting up a full surround system. Would definitely recommend.

Now when I'm watching movies I'm taken into the world/scene with the clear,crisp and deep bass of the sound the speakers put out. You hear every stick break and feel every punch on the screen. This surround was easy from opening the box to plugging it in and enjoying the sound.

I love the length of this sound bar because I feel it cover a great distance with the sound. The sound quality is amazing, very clear and crisp. The sound bar itself is heavy and has a simple but beautiful gray-black design. It came with a remote control and a subwoofer. Also has wall bracket for hanging it on a wall. The connection was so easy and the sound bar was able to connect to the subwoofer via Bluetooth. The sound bar makes me have a magical moment when watching my favorite tv program. The bass from the subwoofer is electrifying. Samsung brought their A game to this beautiful Sound bar. I was able to connect it to smartthings App. I couldn't use the Q symphony feature because I do not have a Samsung TV. Overall I love this sound bar and I highly recommend it.
