Cupcakes were delicious as always and ready on time! Ordering was difficult as I had trouble connecting with the app in-store. A friendly person in the bakery was able to help me place the order. Only negative comment is I ordered sprinkles on the top and staff used course sanding sprinkles. And a lot of them at that! Maybe they were out of the regular sprinkles. Made for a crunchy cupcake, but other than that they were great!

I want to say a super huge thank you to the Sam’s bakery staff. I’m not sure the name of the lady that helped my sisters but she was phenomenal. My husband dropped the freshly picked up cupcakes for our daughters baby shower and when my sister went back to have them replaced the lady that helped them remade them perfectly and escorted my sisters to the front and didn’t charge for the replacement. She is an absolute angel and deserves a raise!

We find that Sam's Club cupcakes are probably the best cupcakes we can buy for our medium to large gatherings. We have been buying them for years and have noticed that they too have become a victim of shrinkflation as they used to be bigger in size. In addition, we would love to be able to purchase a complete tray of vanilla with white icing like we used to. Nevertheless, they are still our go to for cupcakes.

The cupcakes were delicious and a great price. My only complaint is your ordering system. It has to be ordered online and not in store. When you do, you don’t get a receipt with confirmation until next day. That was stressful as I called the store to see if my order went thru, and they said they don’t get until next day. If my order hadn’t gone thru, I wouldn’t be able to get them because of limited times for day and time I was needing them for. That’s messed up. Store said they deal with this all the time. Why not fix this glitche so the buyer is not panicked and store isn’t left dealing with frustrated customers. That’s why I gave three instead of five stars. At best go back to taking cupcake orders at store in person as well.

I was not happy that i was charged for the plain cupcakes i never picked up.I called i to tell bakery I had an emergency and couldn't pickup since I live in LA and I was still charged. I called customer service and they said I had to drive to Moreno valley to get refund. When I called bakery they were no help at all.

Ordered cupcakes with light pink icing and received coral icing. The employee was very willing to make it right and offered to remake the cupcakes but would take a couple hours. Came back a few hours, picked up the light pink cupcakes and put them in the fridge for the shower the next day. When I pulled them out of fridge to display them, they had coral icing all under the pink icing. The employee had literally wiped what coral icing she couldnoff of the cupcake and then added light pink on top. There was even coral icing on the liners. It was a mess. Unfortunately, I only noticed the light pink icing and was happy! If I didn’t live 30 minutes away and the shower wasn’t at 11am, I would have went back and complained the next day. I have ordered cupcakes multiple times here but this time was crazy! The taste and moistness was great and I can’t complain in the quality or price….Just the icing. We laughed, and enjoyed the enjoyed the shower. But I do hope that this perhaps may be a lesson to all Sam’s bakery employees…. Don’t scrap off icing and reapply! The colors will seep out and it’s impossible to cover it all!!

The online platform allowed us to order these online for pickup a few days out. The day of the scheduled pickup the order was cancelled--no explanation no substitution. I went out to the store to see if it was a mistake, and the person working in the bakery said they don't take orders for any type of cake or cupcake anymore, it is first come first serve from the case. We were left without cupcakes the day of our event--a schoolwide Halloween party, no less.

I ordered cupcakes for my daughter’s 8th birthday party. We went for a simple half vanilla half chocolate with sprinkles. When we picked up the order all the cupcakes were only frosted, no sprinkles. The lady helping me tried telling me I didn’t order sprinkles, which required me pulling up my order to show her I did. After showing her the order confirmation in my email, she asked if I still wanted sprinkles, and with an attitude took the cupcakes from me and aggressively topped my cupcakes with sprinkles. I know it was only sprinkles, but my daughter picked out what she wanted for her cupcakes. I was disappointed that the cupcakes weren't completed as ordered, but even more disappointed that it was an inconvenience to make the order right. On a positive note, the cupcakes were delicious and I would order cupcakes again.

There is no option for the whipped topping frosting to have any form of color which I find kind of odd. no originality or form of selling or upgrades to the cupcakes when you’re doing a custom order. That would be not only a monetary way for the bakery to increase cross sales on custom orders and also allow customers to truly have exactly what they’re looking for. Further more this is the THIRD order in a row I’ve purchased cupcakes from Sam’s club that has been incorrect. This time my order I had placed well enough in advance was mysteriously “missing”. I was greatf that the employee was able to whip up the order however… it looked exactly like that, a messy quickly done entire order of birthday cupcakes. I was just grateful to have them

Cupcakes were thrown away because we did not pick them up at the exact time we had it scheduled. Extremely disappointed no one bothered to even call. We never received a refund and were charged for cupcakes being thrown out. Make sure you’re not late to pick up the cupcakes or your kid might not get them for their 1st birthday either.
