The only issue we've had is trying to de-wrinkle with steam where I only put one shirt into the dryer. It got it could and wet, but not didn't dry it...perhaps one shirt in a large dryer was the problem? Time to dive into the manual? Otherwise, we've liked the way it works and the simple, elegant design.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The AI Optimal Dry does a fantastic job! It's what I use 99% of the time because of it's efficiency. It leaves my clothes feel soft and completely dry. Never that slightly damp feeling. The capacity is just fantastic. It dries a king size comforter with ease. I haven't tried all of the different settings but so far, I LOVE this dryer. I have it connected to the washer, stacked and they work seamlessly together.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This would be a perfect dryer if the preset drying options actually dried my clothes completely. This may be a problem with the machine’s drying sensor. For example, if you choose the drying option for towels, your towels are only dry a third of the way. Start the towel cycle again and it shuts off only after a few minutes because it’s sensing the towels are already dry - when clearly they’re not. A way around this is using the timed dry option. That’s okay when you’re drying on high heat but not low or no heat, though. So if you’re attracted by the preset drying options that will actually get your clothes dry, look for another dryer.

However, I adjusted the dryness and it was good after that. I hope the dryer (and washer) could be more controllable with the Smartthings. I do not see much benefit of using Smartthings with the Samsung washer and dryer yet.

Love the AI Dryer settings, especially for when my son doesn't know what setting what to do. Pretty much use the AI drying setting as a set it and forget it feature. My wife loves the delicate cycles for her undergarments. She also Vibration Reduction Technology that reduces noise and vibrations, as my son can sleep through it at night. The best feature overall is smartphone notification with SmartThings. Ultimately, love how you can preset the setting on my Samsung Phone.

Simple and easy to operate. It comes with AI technology that adds convenience in operating this appliance. It automatically senses the weight of the load so the appropriate length of time to dry the clothes. Just load these clothes in and pick normal setting and th AI does the trick! Very smart! Love them both!

This is the first time I purchased a dyer that wasn’t a whirlpool or Maytag. So this is a very risky high end purchase BUT I have no complaints so far. I hope it still has the same lifetime as the others. Only time will tell on that issue, other than that I am loving it.
