I've had the new unit for 3 weeks. From day 1, it's had a very loud ticking noise on spin cycle. Had Service Tech out twice now and they can't find anything with it. The Tech left today and didn't hear anything. Right after he left - horrible, loud ticking again through several loads. I made a video of the noise and submitted it. We'll see what happens

I had to replace my 10 year-old Samsung washer and dryer set. I absolutely despise the new model! The dryer takes 2-3x longer to dry my clothes. The operational user interface is so idiotically inefficient and over-engineered it's absurd. You have to scroll through so much unnecessary crap just to get the dryer programmed properly, it's abdolutely absurd! Same goes for the washer. The programming / setup interface is so inefficient, over-thought, and over-engineered it drives me nuts to have to scroll through so many settings I'll never use. Instead of having a simple delayed start by 1, 2, 3,4 hours, you now have to figure out when you want the wash to be completed but you have to do the math on how long the cycle is. You can't just do a simple 1 hour delay without having to do addition of subtraction using the length of the wash cycle. What freaking genius thought that was a good idea?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the dryer doesn’t rumble like a bag of rocks are in there during any cycle, you can hardly hear the dryer is on. the dryer rack is also a huge plus since you can place shoes on there and run a cycle without destroying the drum or the shoes. the lint collector is the most effective i’ve seen ensuring most of the lint gets caught in the screen and not having to worry about a fire hazard. the units both have beautiful displays that are bright and easy to read. i enjoy using the smart things app, this allows me to select cycles and times on my machines from the comfort of my couch. i ended up purchasing pedestals to raise the level of the door only because i have back issues.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these as a stackable & also purchased the control kit to be able to control the dryer from the washer, at first it did not work when they were installed, after a tech was sent out, it was fixed & works well. As for my 4 Star review, some settings on drying like the Normal seem to turn off prior to items being dry, so the best setting to use is the Time Dry to avoid that happening.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer is amazing. It doesn’t make much noise at all. It’s very spacious, I am able to add many clothes inside. I also love how it notifies me when the washer is done. I can see it on my smart tv screen which is awesome. I also appreciate how many different settings it has. If I need to wash heavy loads from work I can. If I I need to wash my sheets it also has a setting for that. I can also use a quick setting to wash something simple and get it washed in the morning before work. It makes my life so much easier. It is also very energy efficient. My energy bill has actually gone done since this purchase. Kudos to Samsung on this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dryer makes so much noise, when you dry a full load. We have to only wash a half a load. Because the dryer can't spin the load. The grinding every time you do a large load. Very bad. Waste of your money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the washer and dryer set, and the washer does great, and the dryer has cut dry time from 1.5-2 hours to 45-50 minutes for the same typical load. This makes for faster finishing of a tedious adult task.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dryer is amazing. It has a big drum to fit your comforter and everything you could imagine. Love the ai optimal dry that detects how wet your clothes are and how long it needs to time dry for. Haven’t figured out how to change how much heat it uses on this because I would love to save more energy usage with power bills being so high. Nice to have the steam functionally in case you ever want to remove wrinkles. This setting could use a few more minutes on drying cause clothes are still a little damp even though its using cold water for steam. Overall a great dryer and you need this!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first got this dryer I was confused on the settings because I would set it for a cycle but it would stop before it was finished. I realized I had the AI learning setting on and it was ending it at the recommended AI time. It hasn’t had enough time to learn the cycles I use so I turned it off for now. So in case you have the same issue you know how to resolve it. Other than that I love the dryer. It does dry fast and it has so many different dryer settings to choose from. Once I have used it for some time and it’s had time to learn my usage I will turn on the AI setting again. The thing I love the most is the lint tray is enclosed. So when you pull it out all of the line is contained inside the lint compartment. You have to open it up to remove the lint. This makes it so easy to clean the lint and keeps it contained.

It has a very large capacity, and can dry my entire Queen bedding set (comforter included) in less than 45 minutes. No other dryer around can do that! 10 outta 10 stars here!
