Wireless headphones are the way to go
So far I’m enjoying not having to rely on my Sony headphones connected to my stereo system with a cord. The JBL 770 headphones work great with my Sirius app on my phone. I hope I can use them on my next airline flight.
Great sound and comfortable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am impressed with the JBL 770nc headphones. I have used them daily for about a week. The sound quality is top notch. It is clear and crisp. The battery life is great. It does say 5 hours however I was using them for 3+ hours while working and they were at over 55% when I went to take them off. They are very comfortable for both myself and my husband to wear. They did not irritate either of us when wearing them for an extended period of time. The adaptive noise canceling is very handy since I often use these while mowing our large yard or doing work on our tractor. It does not block out all the sound but these are loud things I am operating and still want to hear of something is a miss. I am able to listen to my podcasts or audio books that I could not previously hear while mowing with some other brands. I have used them to talk on the phone with and no issues were reported from anyone I was talking to and they couldn’t even tell I was talking via the headphones. The buttons are laid out nicely that makes sense and not in a random sequence. Overall I am very happy with these Tune 770nc and would recommend them.
Review headphones
These do the job, and no I'm not impressed with them, I purchased a fake set that resembles apple Air pod pros for the same money, yes they were fake but sound quality was really good and comfortable was there , these even though they are over the ear are just flat uncomfortable , and normal sound is ok , but the top end breaks apart and sounds terrible, again these just do the job.
Thanks for your feedback. We're here to help with your JBL Tune 770NC. Please know that source devices and songs can vary in output volume levels. Some are louder than others. The speaker may reach its maximum undistorted volume before the volume control hits 100% to prevent distortion, especially if the source is extremely loud. If the issue occurs before 90% volume, boosted frequencies from an equalizer (EQ) could be causing distortion. Try turning off the EQ (only if you are using one). If the distortion stops, adjust the EQ settings to prevent speaker damage. Next, try to connect a different device to the speaker to determine if the problem is with the device or speaker. Last is reset, turn on the speaker then press and hold "Volume +" and "Volume -" for more than 5 seconds. The headphones will turn off, and reboot to factory default. You may need to 'forget' the headphones in Bluetooth settings on your phone/tablet in order to pair them again. If the issue remains, please contact our customer support.
Best Headphones I’ve Had
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very comfortable. Noise canceling is decent. It probably starts kicking in at 3/4’s volume, then outside noise starts being difficult to hear. In this setting, at max volume, it is impossible to hear outside noise. I had my television at a seven volume. The toggle buttons take awhile to get used to. These are probably the best headphones I’ve had from any company. It did take a reset and a 10-30 seconds to find my iPad and connect. It is faster to find and connect on an iPhone. No irritation with ears and hair when headset is on. Very soft and secure. Bass is pretty good on Drake songs from Honestly Nevermind and Justin Bieber’s Right Here.
Great noise cancelling "cans"
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been wanting some noise cancelling over the ear headphones for a while now, and these didn't disappoint. I have so far used them for several hours on the weekend paired to my phone via Bluetooth. I was doing some home improvements and running a very loud shop vac nearby for hours at a time and with the noise cancelling active the noise was greatly reduced and I was able to listen to music and podcasts at a normal sound level. Then when I wasn't running the vacuum I used the talk through feature so if my family came to talk to me I could still hear them.
Happy with them!
I really appreciate the better noise reduction than my previous JBL on-ear headphones offer. It paired easily with all my devices, except my laptop, which I absolutely need to figure out for work. Otherwise, the sound comes out very clearly with podcasts and audiobooks, which is what I use them for.
Still the Best
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] JBL does it again. I have owned a wide variety of JBL equipment. Anywhere from ear-buds to bluetooth rechargeable head phones for portable. Enjoy bookshelf and studio monitors at home, nothing better.
Great bluetooth headphones
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I really like this set of headphones. They have excellent sound quality, as I have come to expect from JBL, and the ability to adjust the settings (equalizers, noise cancelling, etc.) in the app is a really nice bonus, especially if you have a preference for more or less bass versus vocals. One of the big advantages that I noticed immediately is that there are controls on the headphones if you want to use them and/or don’t have your phone or other device in hand when you need the controls. It takes a little bit to get a feel for where the buttons are, but I really appreciate having a button that lets me easily toggle between noise cancelling, ambient aware, and talk through. I haven’t used the others much at all since it’s easier to just adjust volume, skip tracks, etc. when listening to music from my phone, but I could see the other buttons being really valuable when being connected to other devices that are not within easy reach. Most of their basic functions are really intuitive, though it might take a while to get used to the extra controls that are available with a long press or double-tap. The microphone on this headset is fantastic. Calls were very clear in both directions, and the over ear headset made it a little easier to block out distractions on a work call so that I could just stay focused on the business at hand. I haven’t tried making a call in windy conditions yet, so I can’t speak to that, but calling when indoors was especially clear (and the mic even picked up the bit of echo when I walked into a small room). So far, I’ve used these mostly to listen to music while working and simultaneously walking on a treadmill desk, including all-day work sessions with only a few breaks. These stayed comfortable all day, unlike most earbuds, and also did a nice job of blocking out the noise of my treadmill to make it easier to focus. The noise cancellation isn’t perfect- a little bit of sound does still get through—but it’s better noise cancellation than I get with my best noise-cancelling earbuds and is more than enough to tune out distractions. The leather on the ear covers is really soft and comfortable. It did get a little sweaty after a few hours of walking, but wiped off easily. I probably wouldn’t use these to work out, and they’re not small enough to easily toss in my work tote, but these will definitely be my go-to for days that I’m working from home and for when I need to tune out significant noise. These are also likely to become my airplane headphones for long international trips as well because they’ll make it so much easier to sleep. Finally, if you’re looking at this set of headphones, you probably primarily want the Bluetooth connectivity, but it’s worth noting that there is also an option to plug these directly into a standard AUX jack. Personally, I’m going to find that functionality most useful on flights, but you might also find this to be a useful option for any device that doesn’t have Bluetooth (or for which you just won’t want to mess with the Bluetooth).
Solid headphone offering from Tune line
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A really solid overall offering by JBL, the 770 noise cancelling headphones are the current flagship of the Tune line. Very good sound quality and tone balance for what I would consider an "on ear" headphone as the ear cups are not large enough to go over my ears. However, they are still lightweight and comfortable. Bluetooth connectivity was excellent and they are fully supported by the JBL Headphone app for iOS which allows you to adjust the noise cancelling mode, EQ, and even firmware update which is a nice supported feature for a relatively inexpensive model. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
Cushy Over Ears Without the Frills
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve used these over ears in coffee shops and around the house. They are quite comfortable to wear with an inch of padding providing a nice cushion over your ear. While it scores high in comfort and sound quality, don’t expect to stowe it away with more than just a thin cloth which provides no protection. Luckily it will wipe finger prints off your glasses quite nicely. The noise cancelling feature is sufficient for most use cases, but for vacuum type silence you may have to look elsewhere. The battery lasts forever and I’d say that the sound quality is what you’d expect to be from an industry leading pair. I also love how easy it is to modify EQ through the JBL app, it really helps to bring these headphones to life.
