Member's Mark Wild Caught Chilean Seabass, priced per pound

We grilled it, tried it, then threw it all out.  It smelled fishy the moment we opened it.  The texture was off and it wasn't like other Seabass we've had on multiple occasions.

Whether sautéed, baked or broiled this tender flaky fish is wonderful.  Nice to have this available from my favorite vendor!

The seafood counter previously offered sea bass. The sea bass is now pre-packaged. The quality is not as good and misleading. What looked like a nice thick piece of fish was actually a very thin long section rolled up to look like a thick piece. Seems the packager is putting 1 decent piece of fish and 1 rolled up tail piece in each package. Unacceptable for $30/pound.

No more fresh sea bass at the counter

To be honest i didn't think this piece of fish was going to be as fresh as it was. I turned out great and it was marked down in price i believe 20%. I sous vide the fish with a citrus butter sauce and it turn out amazing!. I went back the following week to get another two packs. Will be purchasing weekly
