Great value

We bought this for our camper, opting for a foam mattress because it was slightly lighter than a spring mattress and easier to get into the camper. I've always been reluctant on foam because I don't like to sink into a mattress. But I don't feel like I sink into this mattress at all. It's perfect. Very firm but not too firm. My wife sleeps better on this one than our Avocado at home. Getting ready to purchase another one for my son's bed. I think it's a great mattress at a great price.

I though I had researched this mattress enough and expected a "Firm" mattress. It is not firm. All the layers on top make it pretty soft. Also, the fact that it is a foam mattress leaves it with no real structure at the edge of the mattress. So edge lacks support. I have not returned it yet, but am definitely thinking about returning it. I have flipped the mattress over and am sleeping on the "bottom" of the mattress - that actually is reasonably "Firm".

This product is a memory foam & latex foam mattress. I don't believe it's a hybrid. I don't think there are coils in it. It comes delivered in something like a 2x2x4 cardboard box. The mattress is vacuum packed in plastic, folded in half, and rolled up. Once you cut it open, you have to let it expand for a few hours, even a day would be good. I would recommend that you don't throw away your old mattress just yet! After opening the new one, let it sit in the garage for 2 weeks prior to using, as the outgassing fumes are terrible and most likely not good for your health. After replacing the old mattress with it, you should run an activated charcoal air filter in the room for a couple months to take out the remaining VOC's that outgas.

We bought this Serta 12" gel memory foam to go mattress expecting a 12 inch mattress! Is this mattress comfortable...yes! Is this mattress good looking...yes! Is this mattress a good savings right now... YES!! Is this mattress as it states a 12" inch mattress...NO!! I have waited and waited for it to only reach 10" at best. There is a Serta mattress for 50 bucks less right now(150 bucks after sale) that is advertised as a 10" inch mattress. Just buy that one and save yourself from anticipation of getting a 12 inch mattress! That is why I gave it a 4 star rating over a 5 star one. SO basically all the dimensions of each layer specified are not true according to this mattress.
