Our family has wonderful smokers and grillers. Unfortunately, we had other commitments and no one had time to smoke a brisket. The brisket I bought had wonderful flavor and was juicy and tender. Would choose this again if pressed on time.

Brisket had great flavor with the right amount of seasoning. Heat well in electric roaster and was moist and flavorful even after some hours on a warm setting. Highly recommend. If you order online, be sure to follow up with a call to your store's meat department because the online ordering selection does not state there is a quantity limit by weight. Caused a small issue when we went to pick up our order, but it was resolved quickly.

What a great idea to package this brisket in approximately 5 lb. pkgs. We bought 3 pkgs. for a family reunion. So easy to prepare and tasted so good. Highly recommend it for large gatherings. Also, you can't beat the price.

Great smokey flavor and plenty tender, the only drawback is if you intend to separate it out into smaller portions it tends to be compressed together when cold. I like to warm it up and eat smothered in BBQ sauce. Mostly I use it for a convenient sandwich item for my lunches at work.

Good, but not GREAT like it used to be. We have been buying these for many years and have been pleased. USED to be very flavorful and VERY LITTLE FAT. The two we have purchased most recent needed lots of help with seasonings and sauces AND had A LOT of FAT! A LOT OF FAT. At $13 per pound, you hate to throw away $15! Still gave it a 4 star because of being so handy and quick to serve. Sliced thin so is good for sandwiches.

This has a nice flavor. It can be fatty for as expensive it is, but it's nice to not cook every meal.

Sadler's brisket is great for the amount of preparation that has to be done to eat it. Nothing beats a fresh brisket smoked for half the day, but this is great for those moments one wants to enjoy their day. Is it fatty? Yes, brisket meat is a fatty cut of meat. We often buy this for special holidays, celebrations and anniversaries. Follow the instructions on the package: 1/4 water, cover with foil, 375° for 13-15 minutes. Also, we buy the big package and vacuum seal and freeze the rest for later.

While the taste of this brisket may be ok, the excessive fat hidden by the labeling is inexcusable considering the price of this piece of meat. We lost about 25% of the weight just from trimming the excess fat off of the brisket. Unfortunately the practice by meat packers and butchers is widespread. Why this is considered "acceptable" is beyond me.. why should consumers have to pay for a product that is 25% unhealthy and disgusting should be outlawed or the vendors should be forced to prominently label how much of the meat is untrimmed (and hidden) fat.

I’ve had some good brisket from Sam’s for years. But this brisket was really awful. Half of the poundage was nothing but fat. Very disappointing. I’ll let a Sam’s associate select this brisket since I was picking up an order. Not anymore. I will have to go in the store and choose my own next time.

Usually great but this time it was a bit tuff.
