This is the best bottle from WT I have had. Maybe the best bourbon I have had. I keep 2 to 3 bottles in stock because I don’t ever want to run out. This bottle has everything, all the flavors all the “feels” you want in a bourbon, everything in one perfectly balance sip. You get the sweet caramel the rye spice the soft oak and the warm Kentucky Hug. No one flavor over powers the other it’s just Perfect. It doesn’t not drink the proof at 116.8. It has all the “edges” you want from a WT but is balanced and in just a perfect amount of each. Wild Turkey hit it out of the park with this bottle.

I’m just getting back into drinking bourbons and this has become one of my favorites due to the fact it has the ability to be an everyday sipper, a mixer, or the perfect drink to share neat on a special occasion.

So this was a bottle I purchased back in February and out of 35 plus bottles of other bourbons on my shelf this one is empty. It’s been my go-to ever since I bought it. I only drink neet around an ounce at a time from a Glen and it’s impressive. Time to replace.

This is one of my “go to” daily drinkers and I always keep a backup bottle. Great flavor, at a fantastic proof point, while being reasonably priced and available everywhere. Great job Wild Turkey. My only complaint is I wish they sold the non chill filtered version of this domestically.

I buy a bottle of WT each year to sip while at Turkey Hunting Camp. This is the selection for my spring season this year. I love having this as my thing to do. The Rare Breed is a "hotter" choice than in years past, but I absolutely love the complexity on the nose. The palate is struck initially with the heat and tingle but quickly smooths out for me. Very tasty.

Do yourself a favor and stop chasing the unobtainable out there. I’ve had them all and I can tell you that given the choice, I’d sell their’s and drink Rarebreed. This is what a select bourbon is supposed to be, and has been ever since it hit the market. When I hear someone else order Rarebreed, I know they are truly dedicated to the spirit and not someone who has to have it because a blogger said so.
