I'm disappointed that each bag needs to be individually cut with scissors and the bag material does not mount in the sealer like some others. This feature was not explained in the ad for the sealer.

No response from FoodSaver for missing foot pad on hand held sealer. Contacted FoodSaver directly but still have not received a response. Inquiry was submitted with product registration after purchase.

I bought this a few months ago and just started using it in the last month. I thought it was great at first until I pulled it out this last time and it would not turn on. It has not been misused or abused. No idea why it won't turn on. Very unhappy.

I have used the food saver for years. It saves money on food and keeps items longer in the freezer. Love this model easy to use. Love that it comes with bags.

I'm returning it as it's very poor quality. The lights behind control buttons barely light enough to read what controls say. Probably why was offered on sale

I really loved this product from the get go. Used the product daily but lately I've been having trouble with the bottom of the bag sealing. Not good, That means you cannot vaccum seal anything. Hopefully, this clears up. Or I'm going to call service. My friend has had one for years with no issues. Maybe I got a lemon.

The Food Saver works well, however you have to cut the large storage bags down in order for all the air to be vacuumed out of them. Even the medium size bags may need to be cut. I find leaving no more than an inch of space between your meats and the edge of the bag works best.

Maybe I got a bad unit? We were able to seal 2 bags and that was it. Took “gaskets” out and flipped them over and that gave us the 2nd vac, but none after that. Very disappointed. For something that should suck, it did not. Debating on trying again, the foam gaskets seem cheap and useless to me.

We needed to replace our Food Saver and chose this on becuase of the smaller size. So far we have been very happy with it. We have been Food Sver users since they first came out in an infomercial many moons ago! Such a great way to save some money!!!

Not quite the product I wanted. Wanted the one that had the bag cutter so Id have straight cuts making it easier to sealer. Very compact (bags take up much more room than the actual sealer) easy to use and havent had a bag that wouldnt seal or came unsealed
