I bought this for my husband who has back problems, Parkinson Disease and Dementia. The chair in itself is great. However, either we were sent the wrong cup holders or there is a serious flaw in this design. The cup holders will not allow you to place your cup evenly. They have plastic points in them which does not allow the cup to sit evenly for ANYONE. Since we have had this chair my husband has spilled soda and water many times. If we received the wrong cup holders please send us the correct ones He himself has designed a way to fix this issue....a roll of used duct tape on the bottom of the cup to keep it stable which looks very bad.I would definitely recommend this if not for that one big mistake.I am hoping that the manufacturer will send us the correct cup holders. The last chair we bought from Costco had silver cups with the even bottoms. This chair is not for anyone with upper body disabilities. Recommending this chair but don't buy it if someone you love has a disability and needs to have a cup even in the cup holder.

I have had my chair for a couple of days now and I find it to be a very nice piece of furniture. I replaced a Lazy Boy recliner which turned out to be junk. I like the extra storage space in the arm rest this solved my remote problem. I can now store all my remotes in one place this also made my wife happy. The cup holders are very neat they fit my beer can perfectly. The tray table is excellent for my chips and dip. My wife's concern is that I will never get up again for the honey do list. I am 6ft 1" and my feet do hang over the foot rest but the chair is still extremely comfortable and the power button for the recline is awesome. For those of you concerned about the pure leather you are not going to get it for this price get over it this feels pretty much like the real thing. Most folks aren't going to keep a leather chair for as long as the leather will last anyway, I had one I didn't. Overall I am extremely satisfied with this purchase.

We're extremely pleased with our purchase. We needed two rows of four to replace our existing movie room chairs so we purchased two three-piece sets plus two single Larson chairs. These chairs are built solid and I have compiled some information that I was not able to find from other Q&As posted here. So hopefully this information will help you. Additional box measurements are listed in my review of the three-piece chair set. 1) This chair come in one box. Some have asked about boxes fitting through certain door openings. We had no problem moving any of the boxes boxes through a 30" door opening (space between two jams, i.e. the physical door size was slightly larger). W x L x H --> 31" x 36" x 25.5" (122.1 lbs). The weight is printed on the side of each box and it took two people to move each box. I suppose if a single person used an appliance dolly (dolly with a strap/clamp), you could move these yourself. 2) Cup holders are not tapered and are 3 5/8" diameter. 3) Each chair is approximately 65" in length when fully reclined (tip of foot rest to top of head rest). 4) The chairs take approximately seven to eight seconds to fully recline. Both recline and return take about the same time and timing is slightly longer when someone is sitting in the chair vs. doing time tests with the chair empty. 5) Each chair is fully supported and although the chairs hook together with a traditional hook and peg design, each chair has feet which increases the strength and durability of each chair. Best of all, when the person sitting next to you moves (shifts weight, reclines, etc.) you won't feel it. 6) I did not notice how these chairs were powered before buying these and thought this additional piece of information may help. Each chair has it's own individual AC to DC transformer and power cord. They are individually packaged and zip-tied to the bottom of each chair. No big deal but you will need to cut the zip-tie to remove the transformer and power cord. If you plan to conceal the transformer somewhere under the chair, make sure you check for clearances when the chair is in motion in both the fully reclined and non-reclined positions. There is a small green LED light on the top of each transformer to indicate the transformer is powered. After being plugged in for one-day, the transformers remained at room temperature. 7) Each chair reclines to almost a horizontal position. In my opinion, fully reclined would be too far back to watch a movie. If you plan to sleep during the movie, you'll be quite comfortable.

Just received my five theater seats and so far I've sent up three of them. The first has one side of it that's not stable. The second one I opened is fine. The third one doesn't work. Flipped it over and found a wire that was disconnected. Now the buttons light up when pressed but chair still doesn't recline but charger works. No sure if I want to even open the other two.

I ordered two of these theater seat recliners with USB ports. I received two recliners that are different item #, different brand , and dont have the same features as what I ordered or as shown. Of course, I didn't realize it until they were unboxed and assembled. Fed ex won't pick up returns that are not boxed. Please remember to check before you open so you are not stuck paying for something other than what you ordered. Reviews only help if you receive what you order and hopefully, this is not something that Sams Club has happen frequently.

I've had my chair now for over a year and it is quite solid and comfortable. I use the small tray primarily as a mouse holder while having my laptop on my.... laptop. The only drawback I see is that over time the construction of where the tray sets in the chair seems to get a bit off and then the tray becomes uneven. Other than that though, I really don't have any concerns and probably will order another one soon for the living room.

This product arrived and I was able to assemble it without any issues. If I have a criticism it would be that it is difficult to get out of but I am 70 and a lot of things are more difficult to do these days. We'll see how the "bonded leather" holds up over time but for now, it was an excellent choice.

We been bought 2 of theses recliners, and they have absolutely no cushion to them. The head and feet do not recline independent of each other and the quality is poor. We've had them for less than a month and the arms are already bowed out and the screws are warped. Worst purchase EVER but we're stuck with these now. They are also very narrow and so uncomfortable to sit in.

I bought this chair for my boyfriend for christmas. He loves it and so do I! I'm seriously considering one for myself! Very comfortable, roomy storage in arms, nice sized cup holders operation is quiet, and my favorite feature, the removable tray. The chair is sturdy and stylish and doesn't take a lot of space. And you can't beat the price! The only thing missing would be usb ports. That would just top it off perfectly in my opinion. Bottom line is this chair was not a bad decision, I feel my money was well spent.

I love the chair...but the electric motor failed while the chair was in the fully reclined position..Doesn't appear to be any way to manually restore it to the closed position..Chair .is less than 2 years old...and really has not had that much use...certainly not enough to burn out the motor...If anyone has had the same kind of failure..I'd appreciate your advice.
