I originally ordered a slightly more expensive chair from a different manufacturer, but the order was cancelled (it was out of stock).The only difference was the first one had USB ports in the armrest storage compartments, and this chair does not. Not a big deal, and it was $100 cheaper. Chair was easy to assemble (did it myself in less than an hour at age 79) including unpacking box and removing wrappings and putting the cardboard container in the trash can. Power reclining mechanism works easily, and included tray table is very helpful for snacking, TV remote or cell phone resting place. Comfortable and conducive for my afternoon nap. Very happy so far!

This is pretty comfortable, and the mechanism is pretty quiet (which I was concerned with). I bought this online, so didn't get to try it out first. The only thing with having it delivered was that the delivery guy didn't bring it in, so I had to get it inside by myself and unpack it. He rang the doorbell and I think he must have actually ran so that I wouldn't ask him to bring it in!! Not sure of that part, but he was gone pretty fast.

Went to my local Sams to get a replacement chair. They do not have an electric theatre seat in the store. My last purchase went bad after 2.5 years. Luckily I had purchased an extended warranty. Can’t do that with this chair and probably any other theatre chair from Sams. New chair has a 1 year warranty. not being able to get a warranty tells you the quality of these theatre seats. I have never had a recliner from Sams last over 3 years.

less than one year and the recliner quit working totaly. i had experienced issues from the begining with the power not lifting. I was able to unplug and reset until it finally stopped working. working with customer service is a nightmare. i take it they outsource to the phillipines for customer service. its very hard to understand them and they dont offer the correct support. they sent fedex to pick up the broken chair but did not tell me i needed to box the chair. where would i get a box big enough to box it. I called them back and they appologized of course but the new replacement has not even shipped and they did not know when this will ship. horrible procedures for customer service. now I sit on a broken chair. i wont buy furniture from sams again. i had a similuar issue with a diamond ring i purchased there.
