I have purchased more than 7 boxed memory foam from Sam’s or Costco. This mattress was packaged beautifully, sprang up when opened and had far less of the chemical smell than previous mattresses. I gave it 24 hours to rise, but the morning after I slept on it I had new pain in my hips, knees, elbows and shoulders...I’m 5’5, 130 lbs and 40 years old. This type of pain was a first! I tried it again for 2 hours the next night and moved to the sofa. For whatever reason this particular members mark hotel collection mattress was too firm for me. In the store I sat on Serta’s bed in a box version and it was far softer but was unclear if that was its composition or if it had been broken in by other consumers. I purchased the members mark mattress because they produce great products and I wanted to give them a shot. Luckily I was able to track down my receipt from my previous mattress also purchased at Sam’s by Night Therapy and ordered it as a replacement. I purchased a mattress bag to protect the members mark mattress in the return process, but when I called to double check they were accepting return due to covid they told me Fed Ex would pick it up! The associate on the phone couldn’t have been more helpful immediately credited my card and arranged Fed Ex pick-up 2 days later. I had a terrific experience even though this bed didn’t work out for me!

I purchased this same mattress in Feb of 2022. I liked it so much I ordered another one in Jan of 2023 for another bed. The mattress I received bunches up on the top and will not flatten out. Sam's sent me a replacement and after sleeping on it for one night, the replacement mattress had the exact same bunching as the other mattress. Something changed in the manufacturing process of this mattress. Sam's Customer Service has been excellent to work with. Both defective mattresses will be picked up. I will not be purchasing another mattress in a box. I do not recommend this mattress.

Very Comfortable! I was a skeptical because it came in a "box" but this mattress is truly a great purchase! I ordered the firm king and it is just right! It has the right amount of firmness/softness (if you wlil). I am really enjoying it and so is my husband - who is very hard to please when it comes to mattresses! Thanks Sam's for a great affordable mattress!

Bought two of these for our guest room and the guests were very pleased, even after multiple night’s sleep. We ordered the Ultra Plush version and were worried they might be too soft, but not at all. Very supportive. Excellent beds for the price. Plus the twin-XL makes a King size, if we elect to attach two frames together.

Sadly this is so lumpy and even allowing an extra week hoping that it would expand more did not work to fix this. I had to return and exchange for a mattress that did not come in a box. The idea is a good one if they can prevent the top of the mattress from the bunching up.

When laying anywhere in the center of the bed it feels great. Not too firm, not too soft but dont try sitting on the edge or especially the corners of the bed, you will sink down and eventually slide off the bed. This would be somthing that I could overlook but I bought it for when my grandmas visit and they like to sit on the edge of the bed. This would not be safe for them. On top of that, the store wouldnt let me exchange it because i had discaeded the box it came rilled up in. It's not like you can put it vack in there! I had proof of purchase. So now, im stuck with it.

After taking out of the box and letting the Foam expand for a few days... The corners did not match up and there is no way to fix it. I am now stuck with a bad mattress because I have no way to return because it is so heavy and big. Will not fit in my car and it is also too big for me to move.

The bed shipped quickly! Once unwrapped from the plastic, the bed came to full size almost immediately. We did not have any one sleep in the bed until two or three weeks later and when my sister did she said it was very comfortable. I was surprised because she is very picky, but she even ask for the information on the bed so she can purchase one for her new home. It is a nice quality bed. I highly recommend this bed.

Totally as advertised. It is a firm mattress. Motion transfer is minimal on a platform bed. We did end up using a plush mattress cover to soften the top just a little. Very happy with the purchase and the price. Delivery was quick. Follow directions on opening as it recovers shrink wrapped very quickly. We let it expand about 7 hours. Slept great the first night and every night since!

Mattress is very comfortable - softer top with firm support. A high quality mattress that doesn't break the bank. It was easy transport since it comes in a box. Be sure to have the box spring/platform bed ready for the mattress because once you unravel and cut open the plastic it is heavy and harder to move around then when in a box :)
