bought mine lightly used from a close friend, I start it regularly. today, no start, I changed the plug and after 50 pulls it started up and surges, runs rough. I wont be buying any more Generac products. not dependable.

I love this generator. Powerful and quiet. The only downside is weight: 100 pounds. I wish there was some sort of wheel accessory for it to make it easier to move around.

It's one of the best items on the market. Allowing for more power means you can run more things when the power goes out and that's a plus all the way around. With Old Man Winter fastly approaching this would be a super investment.

Bought it in February. Unpacked it in October. Battery was connected (wasn't supposed to be) and there was oil in the motor (wasn't supposed to be any oil). Must have been a refurbed item. Battery is dead and is not covered by warranty.

Starts ez, compared to Honda this noticeably makes less noise, the power gauge, fuel gauge, and timer are very ez to see and understand, no guess work involved in when time fuel up or how long until empty. More options then honda.
