Initially, we thought the bed wasn't going to be comfortable--it's so different from a normal mattress. It can feel board-stiff when you first plop down on it, but that is easy to adapt to because once you're settled in for sleep, it's seriously the most comfortable mattress we've ever slept on. Those little annoyances in a regular mattress (like feeling like you're rolling into the middle when sleeping with your spouse, or the whole dang thing jiggles when she gets up at night) are 100% gone. If you can afford it, I highly, highly recommend. The one thing I don't like about it is that it can trap some serious heat. I sleep very hot, and even with the thermostat set to 64 F, I still sometimes wake up sweating. I should have bought the cooling mattress but it's more expensive.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mattress is a little too soft, difficult to get in and out of and unfortunately too warm to sleep in...I have to keep the temperature very low in the house while sleeping. The adjustable base is a nice added feature and the pillows are very nice. I will be returning the mattress.

We were both suffering pain in neck, shoulder and hips prior to purchasing the ProAdapt medium hybrid. Granted our very expensive name brand pillow top was 12 years old, we both ceased having pain from day one. Combined with the Ergo frame, subtle adjustments to head and feet positions have given us the best nights sleep we have had in years. Both the mattress and frame are very high quality. We absolutely love our new bed and expect years of comfort.

So far so good. The foam mattress conforms to your body as you move in bed and you don't feel your partner moving around during sleep. It takes a little time to get used to going from a "regular" mattress to a memory foam mattress, so I only gave it 4 stars because we haven't had enough time to fully evaluate it and if the mattress maintains its shape over time. We have only used it for about 2 weeks.

The first couple of nights took some getting used to, but after that it was great. Very good temperature, very firm but adjusts to one's body shape. Best sleep in years and my wife's snoring is way down. It was easily twice the price of the next mattress but it is worth it. I added four KS foam pillows to go with it. Very comfortable.

I purchased the Medium Hybrid for a second home. It is the best mattress I have ever slept on. I am comfortable in any position I sleep in. I actually look forward to going to bed. No more hip pain from sleeping on my side. I am now going to purchase a TEMPUR-ProAdapt Medium Hybrid for my home because when I left, I missed it so much!!

Everyone needs a Tempur-Pedic mattress! As a Team USA figure skater, recovery is a HUGE part of my life. This includes proper amount of sleep. Before I was sleeping on a mattress that I had had since middle school. In the past year I had noticed that I was having trouble falling asleep, getting too hot while I slept, and waking up with a sore back or not feeling refreshed. As soon as I started sleeping on my Tempur-Pedic mattress I noticed that I had more energy in the morning, I didn't feel as sluggish. This mattress adapts and conforms to my unique weight, shape, and temperature. It's pretty amazing what a good quality mattress can do for your life!

After struggling to sleep through the night for the past few years due to hot flashes and restlessness from hip & back pain, we decided to invest in the Tempur-ProAdapt cooling bed and it was worth it! I have been sleeping through the night for the first time in over a year. No more waking up hot and the Zero G feature has changed our sleep pattern so much, no more tossing and turning or pain in our backs & hips. We wake up each morning amazed at the amount of uninterrupted sleep we are getting! I had almost lost hope on a good nights sleep but I am glad we decided to invest in this bed. Highly recommended!

I have hip & shoulder problems and this mattress allows me to sleep so comfortably throughout the night now! I love how it supports my whole body! We also have their amazing pillows too! I'm always skeptical of 5 star reviews since a radio station where I live is always talking about how many companies post a bunch of them to boost their sales, so I tend to read mostly 1 star reviews to see the negatives. Well, I did that for this mattress and saw so many people complaining about how the mattress is too firm or how they sink into the mattress and they can't even roll over or how the mattress is way too hot. For one, the mattress is definitely not too firm. It's "Medium Hybrid" so if you didn't want a decently firm mattress, maybe you shouldn't have ordered the next-to-most firm mattress. With that in mind, it's still not too firm. It's perfect. I don't wake up with a bunch of back pain like I used to. Secondly, if you are getting "stuck" in this mattress (the medium hybrid), then you are 100%, without a doubt, very overweight. I mean, you have to be if that is happening to you. Third, this is a cooling mattress. Few times have I slept on a cooler mattress in my life (if at all, ever). It feels great and definitely doesn't get super overheated feeling like people always say memory foam does. This is legit the most comfortable mattress I've ever owned, and I bought it without even first laying on it in a store. I've had it for at least a month, and I couldn't be more satisfied unless there is a deal I didn't know about where I pay less for the exact same mattress and it comes with servants who feed me while I lay here. Anyways, thanks so much tempur-pedic for making a mattress that has, for the most part, solved my sleeping woes.
