We both like a firm mattress, and I especially need one because of lower back problems, but this was a new level of firm. Yet sleeping and watching TV on this mattress is as comfortable as I've been on a mattress. It's firm but not hard, if that makes sense.

I was hesitant at first when making such a big and expensive purchase on a mattress, but after talking to several friends who have had Tempur-pedic beds, I was convinced and I do not regret it one bit. The first night sleeping on the mattress, I got a full nights rest (which I had been struggling with previously). I would rate it a 10/10 and highly recommend especially if you have trouble sleeping.

This bed is a lifesaver! We were worried about purchasing a bed online and with the pandemic, not able to go to a store a lay on it, gave me anxiety. After many months of researching we finally decided on the Tempur-ProAdapt Firm. Purchasing online was easy and customer service was great with all our questions about delivery protocol. When they delivered they wore masks, gloves and booties! Took our old mattress away and all the packaging! The first night was the best sleep I have had in years! The bed is cool, firm and contouring. Firm but not too firm. I was having a ton of lower back/hip pains with our old bed. We have had our Tempur-ProAdapt bed for two months now and I am still getting restful pain free sleep.

For years I've been tossing and turning at night and then waking achy and sore in the morning. I finally realized the problem could be the firmness of my mattress. Putting aside the long back-story of how I went from bed to bed for years not finding comfort or consistent sleep, Tempur-Pedic has saved my life! By far the best purchase I have ever made. When I get into the ProAdapt mattress, my focus becomes SLEEP. It is an amazingly advanced mattress in terms of quality, support, and still provides a plush, cloud-like feeling as if you're slowly sinking into the bed, long after you've already laid down. The hybrid was perfect for us because it wasn't too firm like memory foam sometimes is, and it has little bounce/give that you need to not feel like your on a firm piece of foam. I don't wake up with a sore back anymore and the king size provides plenty of room.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the firm mattress. I have enjoyed it's firmness and how the memory foam conforms to your body without sacrificing any of the firmness. I gave it 4 stars because the mattress is shorter in length than my previous mattress. My bed is also sitting lower but I plan to get risers to bring it up about 3in.

I've been sleeping in my Pro-Adapt Medium Hybrid for about 5 weeks now, and I'm still getting used to it. It's comfortable for the most part, but sometimes I feel it's too firm. I love the fact that it's quiet and motionless, so it doesn't disturb my partner. I'm hoping that with time it'll be softer or more responsive, I don't know. It's a great quality mattress, and I'm overall satisfied.

I had high hopes for comfort for lower back pain and hip pain. I can't sleep on my side anymore, so I need a mattress that is comfortable for a back sleeper. My husband is primarily a side sleeper, and this works great for him, but I'll need one that is a little firmer. I also sweat every night, as memory foam tends to sleep hot.
