I'm Suspicious!!

I have purchased several different brands of “Pasture Raised” eggs for years. All of them, the yolks are bright orange. These yolks were pale yellow, just like typical cooped up and caged chicken eggs. Makes me wonder if they truly are “Pasture Raised”?!?!

Pale yellow yolks- quality has changed!

The quality has changed! These used to be the best bright orange yolk pasture eggs and now they are super pale yellow. My omelets literally look like they were made with egg whites only vs a “pasture raised egg”. So disappointed. Will not be buying again!

Quality Control, Please

Recent (post-return) decline in quality. Is the previous farm unavailable? Because these eggs are different. As noted elsewhere, taste is not the same and yolk color is more pale, which typically indicates a diet lower in carotenoids, such as a feed based mainly on wheat or corn.

Next Best to Local Farm Eggs

The organic eggs are the next best to a local farm egg. They are affordable and taste great. The new cardboard packaging is sturdy and keeps them fresh and safe from breaking.

Pasture Raised

I love that Sam’s is now carrying pasture raised organic eggs! The yolks have such a deeper color orange than the ones that are not and they taste delish!

Good

These are not the same as I had bought before. These "organic" eggs did not have the same golden yolk as what I have bought before. The yolk was a lighter color. Too many theories out there, but we have scrambled or baked with them so they are fine.

Not Like They Used to Be

I have been buying these eggs for 2 years. The yolks have always been bright orange until my last purchase, when they were plain old yellow. I'm not going to spend extra money any longer for lower quality.

Still yummy but not what we hoped for

I don’t know why Sams got rid of their cage free. The yolks were more orange and the shells were thicker. The chickens must have been happier. These make me sad.

Gross

I thought great orgsnic pasture raised . I ended up tgrowing them out. The yokes are a pale and unsettling gross yelllow and the consistency of the yolks is thin and disgusting. Obviously chesp grain feed or worse If all eggs were this nasty I would never eat another egg again. Back to vital farms from Walmart. My love affair eith Sam's Club is over. No longer a discount brand just a waste of time.
