Member’s Mark USDA Choice Angus Beef Filet Mignon, priced per pound

Wasn’t near the quality I am use to for this cut of meat that I always buy at Sams Club.

Pricey and wasn’t the quality I’m use to for Sams

Disappointed.  Tough, flavor not on par with filets.

Nah.

Not very tender for a Filet Mignon, pretty disappointed actually…..

Not quality beef

Product’s shelf life was less than the use by date. Sam’s club issued a refund.

Short shelf life

Price increased. One filet was all fat and sinew and you could not eat it.

2 good steaks two poor quality steaks in pack.

The steaks had a lot of fat on them.  A true fillet shouldn’t be that way.

Choice Fillets as well as the Prime Filets

Disappointed in the amount of hidden fat on the sides and curled underneath.

Don’t hide the fat

We were shocked at the horrible quality of our recent purchase of your filet mignon! It was mushy! Made for a very bad “date night”!for my hubby and me. 

They did refund our money, but as a devoted member since 1998, we can't help but wonder what's happening to Sam's quality control. This isn't the first time, unfortunately.

Plus Membership raising & Quality Control TANKING!

At a time when beef is not particularly budget friendly and I feel like some stores and restaurants may be passing lower cuts off as premium to help sales, I was very pleased with my purchase of filets from Sam's.  Those were the steaks you hope to get when buying premium meats.  My next filets will come from Sam's!
