Tried to give our friends a good dinner and it was completely ruined. They obviously use tenderizing enzymes in their food which turned every single fillet into mush. Not just overly soft, I'm talking baby food or meat paste level. Completely unacceptable, ESPECIALLY for what came out to be a $65 purchase. Buy your meat somewhere else!

The quality of Sam’s Club meat has declined over the last year and the beef tenderloins are included. Poorly trimmed. There is a thick layer of fat and silver skin on the filets. For the price, I would expect them to be expertly trimmed. I have been very disappointed in Sam’s Club”s meats. Are the butchers being told to prepare meat this way?

The first time we had these, I started to tenderize with Adolph's, then realized the fork was sliding through to the cutting board practically under its own weight. Grilled to medium rare, these were a silky, melt-in-your-mouth treat with superb flavor and the perfect amount of fat. I honestly never thought I'd write a review about a hunk of meat, but I'm happy to spread the word. Fellow steak lovers, do yourself a favor and get thee to the Sam's Club meat department NOW!

Bought what looked like beautiful tenderloins. Got home and decided to grill them. Opened the package and two of the filets were obviously placed face down in the package to hide what horrible cuts they were. Absolutely nobody would have ever bought that package had they not put those bad sides down. I live too far away from Sam’s to drive all the way back there to demand a refund. Shame on the Sam’s Club employee that did that and if this is a Sam’s Club policy then I’ll soon learn that when it happens again.

I was disappointed in the packaging of this product as they put small pieces of meat in the package and hid it under the label and secured it with very tight packaging. The meat I bought was not the tenderloin steaks they should have been especially for the price. I won't let them sting me again.

New Grapevine store, why don't you have a meat and seafood counter like the Keller store. Once again I rang the buzzer and asked if I could get two filet's and was told NO. I don't want to freeze extra filet's, I buy them and grill them the same day. During the grand opening the meat department gladly cut me two eight oz Filet's but once the grand opening was over not any more. Plus having your shrimp, crabs and tuna on rollers in the middle of the store looks cheap and unhealthy. I talked to Zak the store mgr about the poor service in the meat department after my last visit and nothing has been addressed.

walk away now and don't look back unless you are prepared to never eat another kind of steak again! This is seriously the best steak we have ever had! This is so tender and juicy and doesn't even need marinating! Other steaks taste like shoe leather compared to this! We can't afford it much but we splurge every chance we get on this steak.

The filets were so tender. Pricey but worth it.
