This is the third 230 gallon deck box we have purchased. The box itself works great on our boat dock but twice very strong winds have ripped the top off even with a very strong lock on the box. The new one is no longer on the dock but on the side of the house where hopefully the wind will not be a problem. It works great storing all the water toys are family has and we don't have to find room for everything in the garage.

It's great because it fits so much. I am concerned over time of the sturdiness of it. Some of the attachments are plastic and the screws that everything is held together with are not very long...so speaking from experience, I know it won't hold up if it is moved much. But, for the price of comparable products, I am pleased with it and it put together very easily. Hopefully it won't be moving, so it should work for our purpose.

When I received the ordered item, the Lid was broken, and, consequently, not rain proof. I called Sam's and they referred me to the manufacturer. I had to call several times before they answered. They advised that they would call back with a solution. I called back several times because they would not call back as they had promised me. The Lid was not sent to me and I finally gave up on getting a replacement. A waste of 100 + dollars on a defective item. This is the first time I've had a problem on an item sold by Sam's.

Broken part that just happened to be the last (top) was snapped into place Box straps were falling off/ when received. Definitely not worth the $208 I was charged by Sam’s club : Their answer was to bring this installed deck box back My question, how do you expect me to get it back ??? The box is 0ver 200 gal box

This is the second storage box I have ordered, the first ( unit was opened at both ends and unit was coming out of box) second one received was damaged both boxes with deep holes and had broken/damaged pieces of the storage boxes, you could see the pieces through the holes. I am asking for this item to be picked up as well. PLEASE credit my account for both of these unsatisfactory boxes/deliveries. Thank you Bonnie Uzzle

Good price, delivered promptly, however missing numerous parts upon opening, bottom panel for container bowed as poorly packed by the manufactuor. Also no printed instructions, had to go online to find them. Checked reviews online and found others have had same issues. Sam's Club VERY responsive however, new on on it's way and pick up of the defective item is being scheduled.

Four corner support parts were in a bag that had been previously opened. The parts were melted and warped and would not lock into the top. I've spent t two days emailing and 1-hour waiting on telephone hold with NO response from Customer Service. I'll try to contact them one more day or this reject will end up back at Sam's for refund.

This deck box is great for my chicken feed and supplies! It is the perfect size and keeps everything dry and in close proximity to the coop. My husband and I put it together very quickly as everything was packaged nicely and labeled. We may order another for pool supplies.

Purchased this deck box on-line since it was too large to transport in my vehicle. It arrived within the stated delivery time frame, double boxed to prevent damage. It was very easy to assemble; 2 people in about 30 minutes. There was room to spare after placing all 8 of our 2.25 foot (W) x 4 foot (L) x 3 inch thick patio cushions inside. Keeping our outdoor cushions clean and dry was the goal which has proven to be effective in an area of Florida that has heavy pine and oak pollen and heavy downpours. I highly recommend this deck box.I also purchased a Keter deck storage seat with the same wood look which matched perfectly to compliment the deck box and provide extra pool side seating and storage of pool toys.

This item is one of those purchases that tells you not to reurn the item to the store if any part is broken or missing. They ask you to call the 800 number for Keter, and they will send a replacement piece. The box we ordered was missing all the hardware to include screws, nuts, and hinges. It has been over two months of numerous phone calls and emails and the missing items have not been replaced. Keter has stopped returning our calls and emails. We ARE returning the item to our local club and getting our money back. I strongly recommend that you not buy any item manufactured by Keter. I also question why Sam's Club cntinues to do business with a company that has such a poor record of customer service.
