When the package arrived, it was missing two pieces. We called Sam's, and the girl said she would issue a refund. She also stated that someone would contact us about returning. This is not an easy product to take back to the store. This is why I had it delivered in the first place.

LARGE deck box. Sturdy enough for storing cushions but you will break it if you put body weight on the lid or floor. Engineering and build quality are reasonably done. Instructions are almost complete. The basic box snaps together. The small parts attach using screws. Many extra screws provided. Phillips head screwdriver is the only tool required. I managed with one person but attaching the lid required some lucky balancing. Keep the kids off the lid and it should last years.

Very affordable price but arrived with scrapes (on front side unfortunately). The hinge system is inadequately weak for regular use. Our biggest gripe is the lack of any instructions at all...nothing. None of the on-line content (text or video) related to this model and the smaller one assembles quite differently. I’m a General Contractor and fairly mechanically inclined. Assembly isn’t intuitive because, as with similar products, the order in which pieces snap together impacts the success of the outcome.

After purchasing a smaller/different brand deck storage box, I was very disappointed. I needed more room and a storage box that did not get water inside every time it rained. Well... we just got about 5 inches of rain in 2 days. While this box is not labeled as a "waterproof" container, it is definitely holding its own. This box was as dry as a bone on tbe inside. I am very impressed with the size, sturdiness, look, and price. Several neighbors have even commented on what a nice looking storage container it is. This is big enough to hold the cushions for a 7 piece sectional outdoor sofa... with room to spare! You wont be disappointed!

Perfect - exactly as described in capacity and was replacing a 20 year old outdoor box that we were using for firewood (also Sam purchase). Seems to be holding up well to heavy wood being tossed in and not bowing under the weight so far. Has been waterproof for our firewood after a couple storms.

Broken part that just happened to be the last (top) was snapped into place Box straps were falling off/ when received. Definitely not worth the $208 I was charged by Sam’s club : Their answer was to bring this installed deck box back My question, how do you expect me to get it back ??? The box is 0ver 200 gal box

When I received the ordered item, the Lid was broken, and, consequently, not rain proof. I called Sam's and they referred me to the manufacturer. I had to call several times before they answered. They advised that they would call back with a solution. I called back several times because they would not call back as they had promised me. The Lid was not sent to me and I finally gave up on getting a replacement. A waste of 100 + dollars on a defective item. This is the first time I've had a problem on an item sold by Sam's.

This was the second box I purchased. It is great for what I planned to use it for, which was pool floats, etc. I'm curious as to how long it will hold up to Florida sun by the pool. Easy to put together by yourself. My only complaint is there is no crossbar, etc. on the interior side corners near the base to hold it in place. There are on the upper sides. When I dragged it 30 feet across the concrete to relocate it, the bottom side started to pull loose because there is reinforcement. It would seem since they reinforced it near the top, they would do so at the base also. I had to stop to push it back together. Since I don't ever plan to move it again, that's not a deal breaker. My suggestion is to get a second person when moving it and just pick it up. This box is very large and will easily hold many patio cushions. and then some. Side note, If you have short arms you may not be able to reach the bottom deck floor. I'd suggest if you have small items that might fall to the bottom to put them in a milk crate/box, or similar, inside the deck box. Then you'd easily reach the sides of a crate to full it out. Overall great box for its purpose.

This is the third 230 gallon deck box we have purchased. The box itself works great on our boat dock but twice very strong winds have ripped the top off even with a very strong lock on the box. The new one is no longer on the dock but on the side of the house where hopefully the wind will not be a problem. It works great storing all the water toys are family has and we don't have to find room for everything in the garage.

STURDY. Keeps items DRY, no leaks at all. Love that the hinges hold the lid open when loading/unloading my items. It's a very, very large box. Assembled with few tools; panels snap together but you'll need a screwdriver to attach the hinges. An extra set of hands will make assembly even easier. My cushions and folding chairs fit nicely and stay dry. Very pleased with the quality and function so far.
