I’m a Southern baker and I only use White Lily Self Rising Flour for my biscuits. Boxed with a little Crisco and/or lard and buttermilk, my biscuits are always light and flaky. I also use this flour for cookies, sauces, and or course southern gravy.

There is a BIG difference in flour

White Lily flour is the ONLY and BEST flour I have found anywhere. It is so white and I use the self-rising for my biscuits as well as other baked goods. I'm very very happy Sam's sells the Self-Rising. We just need to have the All-purpose flour added to stock. Hear my plea.

My go to flour for biscuits, cookies, and cakes, when one doesn't want gluten development in the final baked good. And since the leavening is "built in," it is always spot on perfect. I make chocolate chip cookies to die for with White Lilly SR, a super moist chocolate cake with American chocolate butter cream icing, and heavy cream biscuits, either dropped or rolled from this versatile flour. Thus it isn't surprising that I prefer to buy it in the Sam's 10lb bag quantity.

I was so excited when i saw this at our club! I have always used White Lily brand, and had to switch to store brand when our store prices increased so much. This is a great product and had a great price!

The former 5# bags are now actually 4# bags and cost more. This is a great price per pound too compared to Walmart, Kroger and Publix. Yes, I compare prices via the other stores apps while I'm in Sam's Club. Sam's is almost always the better buy!

i love White Lilly SR flour. if you dont sell it why do you put it on ad.

I have made biscuits so I know what I'm doing. I made biscuits using this 10 lb bag of flour and I would swear that there was bread flour in that bag and not self-rising flour. The biscuits were a color that would be consistent with bread flour and also there was no rising agent. I don't believe because the biscuits did not rise at all. They were flat like hockey pucks And they had the color that bread flour produces. I've never had any issues with white lily flour before so this was quite surprising and a 10 lb bag wasn't cheap
