Instructions were vague and the safe was not accessible when purchased I had to find a battery to jump start it to even get it open. The yellow tag with screw was not where is was supposed to be which is attached to the inside of the door. It was just lying-in the shelf in the locked safe. I tried both the QR code and phone number and nothing worked. I tried the phone numbers on the safe it was unlisted and would not go through.The only reason for the poor rating score is the lack of detail from the plant when packaged

The Safe is great itself but the touch pad is horrible. I have to keep touching it for a good minute over and over until it finally lights up to enter in the code. I’ve tried various batteries, pressure of touch. It’s a brand new safe right out the box so I’m very disappointed that it doesn’t work without any issues. I called the number on the safe… it’s a no servicing number. I hope someone sees this and gets it resolved for me. It cost way to much money to not function properly.

Small safe hard to fit laptop in it and document folders could have been 1 - 2 inches larger the 3 star review is because I have to touch the screen for along time to wake it. Also no audible alarm sounded when lifted and moved. The door has a built in light which was great no need for a flash light. Programming was easy beside it not reading my finger easy

The safe seems very secure. Its pretty heavy and if you bolt it with the hardware that it comes with no one should be able to take it. What i dont like is that the home screen doesnt turn on right away. In an emergency this wouldnt be good. I also noticed that a Lockout key didnt come with it.

Purchased the safe to replace a competitive safe that was near 40 years old and was getting different to open. The SFW123TTC is an excellent replacement. It was easy to setup and has an alarm function. It also has a gasket to provide a strong seal for the contents. I am very pleased with the purchase and considering purchasing another one.

Appears to be a very good safe and well made. Only issue/concern is the keypad is not very sensitive to the touch when it comes to activating the keypad. I have learned one must press on it somewhat firmly to activate the digital keypad. Once activated, it works very well. Hopefully, there will never be an issue of the keypad not appearing or working when one must enter the safe.

I'd have given it a 5, but I had to call when it didn't work with the first AAA batteries I tried. I was informed that they needed to be either Energizer Lithium or Duracell Procell. Something about the posts on regular batteries not being long enough - should be something they add to the instructions rather than waiting for people to call when it doesn't work. Either that or a design problem with the battery tray. Otherwise, a good, dependable safe.

The cost of the safe is very affordable compared to safes of similar size, although so goes the old adage... You get what you pay for. If you do not need to get into your safe often, this is likely a fair purchase. I am concerned that the handle will not hold up to continuous use. The handle to open the safe is made of plastic and has a lot of play in it almost as if its about to break off. The action on the movement is not smooth and after I enter my code and pull to unlock it sticks so, i have to pull it pretty hard to get it to open. This leads me to believe its only a matter of time before a good tug, necessary to open, will end up breaking the handle. Another issue is that the digital keypad is very finicky. You need to tap on it to get it to awake from sleep mode. I have tried light taps, hard taps, firm press, slow push, rapid taps and no one motion seems to do better than another to get the keypad screen to wake. Another issue is that, it is also finicky about the battery used. The notes state that only Alkaline batteries should be used. I purchased, Duracell Quantum "Our most advanced Alkaline" thinking that I would get better life from them, but they didn't work at all in it. All in all, if you don't need to access your safe more than a couple of dozen times a year, the safe should hold up to the use and will be sufficient for the price paid.

I really didn’t want a fancy safe, but remembered how annoying it was in gym class to try and use a dial to open. This safe is the perfect size, big enough for me to keep valuables that are not “paper” and not too big that it takes up my entire closet.
