It does what I need but the mechanism is stiff.

The safe seems to be good so far. The battery compartment was not in the box. I contacted SentrySafe & they sent me one. Works fine now.

I bought this Oct 2020. Replaced the battery about 3months ago. Tried to open the safe this week however the touch key pad was not responding. Tried with external 9V battery but could not get the touch pad to respond.

It was just what we need. When l'd opened the box the item had a little dent but it was ok. Probably because of shipping. I just loved it, perfect size.

Safe came without the battery pack. Returned the first one and that one also did not have the battery pack. Hade to call the sentry safe customer service number and they set one the next day. The safe is great.

Plenty of room for a home safe. Easy to set up. I love the features of the safe such as the digital combination, water resistant and fire proof as well as the alarm that goes off some tries to pick it up!

The safe seems very secure. Its pretty heavy and if you bolt it with the hardware that it comes with no one should be able to take it. What i dont like is that the home screen doesnt turn on right away. In an emergency this wouldnt be good. I also noticed that a Lockout key didnt come with it.

I have had this for a couple weeks, it’s roomy, secure, it has a digital front and a back up battery so you can open it when the keypad dies, the alarm is not too loud but loud enough and it’s light enough to go up high in the closet, like 80ish lbs maybe. If you open something forcefully close to it like the door it will set it off, also while it was in the floor my daughter set it off jumping next to it. You cannot set your own code. Good value for what I paid though.

Perfect for a personal bedroom safe it’s the right size, weight, and the touchscreen version is even more appealing, the light that turns on when you open the safe is nice too. I also bought the extra shelf that locks to go with the trey shelf that came with it. IMO I think 2 trey shelfs and 1 flat shelf would be best

Small safe hard to fit laptop in it and document folders could have been 1 - 2 inches larger the 3 star review is because I have to touch the screen for along time to wake it. Also no audible alarm sounded when lifted and moved. The door has a built in light which was great no need for a flash light. Programming was easy beside it not reading my finger easy
