Lots of room for all kinds of things that are important. This safe is very heavy. Easy to move if you keep it in the box till you have it where you want to put it. Nice slot handles on box for two people to move. For us the most important thing is for water and fire proof. A nice safe at a very good price. The best part is it was less expensive to have it shipped than to buy in the store.

This item had more features then I could ask for at a price that's great. A light even comes on when you open the door. I thought I would have to bolt it to the floor but it has an alarm that will go off for up to 99 mins!! So if the code is put in wrong or someone try's to lift even one side of it. It yells for 99 mins I can't see anyone trying to carry this big huge safe from my house with that racked going on or driving away with it. Ppl in other cars can hear it! Very pleased!!

I bought this safe to secure some valuable items/documents at home and reduce the need to go back and forth to the safe deposit box. Got it at my local Sam's Club and began using it right out of the box. Set up was easy and fast. There's plenty of storage space for me to use. I also prefer a digital keypad lock in lieu of a key. It's exactly what I was after for my home. I love it!

Good quality. Had some issue initially to set it up, but reviewed video in you tube and was able to fix it. It is spacious inside. For now looks good.

It does what I need but the mechanism is stiff.

The touch pad doesn't light up when you touch it sometimes. It takes a couple tries. It also sometimes doesn't open on the first try.

Instructions were poorly written. I closed the door with instructions inside and had not installed the batteries yet and it was locked.. How does this happen. Instructions need to be more clear. I returned as I don't want to have that happen a year from now. I will look for a safe that does not need batteries to open the door...! Or even a Key would of been nice. Besides after reading reviews, this safe is not all that secure.

I have had this safe for about a month now. I want to like the safe. It is heavy, and it has an alarm that will sound if the safe is moved, or if the wrong codes are entered too many times. It also has an interior light. But, I don't like that there is no way to get into the safe if the electronic touch keypad does not work. Also, the keypad takes quite a bit of pressure to make it light up. Sometimes I have to touch it several times to make it light up. I keep a pistol in the safe, which I want to be able to reach quickly if I need it. Having to touch the keypad more than once takes time. The keypad is plastic, and will easily melt if near the heat of a fire. Thus making entry into the safe impossible without smashing it open. I don't know why Sentry Safe did not offer the key option with this safe. They do in the larger model of this safe. Also the safe has only a one year warranty. The First Alert 1.3 cu. safe has a five year warranty. I will be returning this safe for the First Alert, which does have the key backup. tmh411.

Purchased the product (model sfw123ftc) from Sam's Club and the electronic keypad failed to respond. Called customer service to trouble shoot and was advised to get the freshest brand name battery (eg. Duracell, Energizer). Still not working sending back for refund.

Nice looking safe, but that's about it.I could not open the safe and then tried the 9 Volt battery slot and still would not open. I had a lot of money in there which I needed. I looked online and saw how many people complained about the same issue (wish I did that before I bought it). Anyway, i was able to saw through the hinge the hinge and then I took a crowbar to take off the front panel and the saw-zaw went through that thing like butter. Took me just about 5 minutes to get that door off. What concerns me more is I emailed Sentry and they have not even had the courtesy of replying to the email. I then emailed Sams Club, which they promise a 24 hour response, which they have not done either. Kind of sad. I would not buy another Sentry product at this point and am having a hard time wondering why Sams would not reply to my email that did not go into any detail.
