[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this pergola because the reviews on it were excellent and the measurements said it would fit on our concrete slab perfectly. It did not disappoint! From delivery to set up everything went smoothly. Just take time to organize the pieces and it will go up easily. The pieces of cedar were of great quality for the amount that was spent on such a large pergola. It probably took about 8 hours to completely set up from start to finish. The directions were very easy to follow as well. Would definitely recommend this product and company!

I purchased the 16x12 May of 2022 with the hopes of getting it up by July for a large family gathering and overall better backyard aesthetic. Things did not go as planned. The four boxes it arrived in sat on the side of my house until September 2nd 2023. I fully expected there to be rot and all kinds of damage since I live in the PNW with lots of moisture. There was a few areas of cardboard rotting to the wood but nothing I wont be able to resolve. (See pictures) It took 2 people (1 being an experienced carpenter) 6 hours to get it unboxed, sorted and assembled. The instructions are VERY CLEAR & everything is numbered. For me, it’s perfect. I absolutely love it. The carpenter assembling it for me was not loving that the roof sections are divided into 3 pieces instead of being one solid long piece.….. but that’s the drawback I suppose for something being shipped and prefabricated. Those details that a woodworker would see are things I don’t care about. A local company makes the exact prefabricated pergola delivered (all solid sections) for triple the cost. No thanks lol I’ll take this one instead!

I purchased and installed Beaumont Cedar Pergola on my backyard deck. The pergola has added a whole new dimension to the deck and its usefulness. The cedar wood was high quality and smells great. The instructions were straight forward and pergola pieces marked which really helped during installation. Thanks for putting together a great product and a price that's very affordable. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this pergola back in May for my back yard patio. I wanted to spend most of my time this summer relaxing. This pergola did not disappoint!! My 17 year old grandson and his friend and I put it together in 2 days. It was very easy to put together and the memories we created was priceless!! Defiantly worth the money!!

We bought this a couple of months ago but had to wait to have slab put in after contractor had a family emergency. Now that slab was put in and waited the 10 days to cure enough my wife and I did the project ourselves which took 2 full days plus stained it. Not bad being in our 70’s. Know that it is done we are loving the time we get to spend using it.

Pergola shipped and arrived within a week of ordering. Discovered a joist missing during assembly. Called customer service and they had a replacement on it's way in two days. Assembly was fairly straightforward but I recommend taking inventory of your parts, having a drill to fine tune pilot holes, and run all the nuts down the bolts prior to assembly. The coating tends to muck the threads up, making them useless. There were extras, but not many. I also ordered some stain as there are alot of touch-ups needed from shipping and assembly. Instructions were ok but take some time to understand so you avoid having to undo steps. It went together more or less as advertised. Added lights and it looks fantastic! .l

I’ll admit a little slow becoming a pergola advocate. With the Texas sun, I do want a little more protection when cooking outside than these things natively offer. This 12x20 monster replaces a pair of 10x13 canopies. The wind has blown here more this year than in the past 60 years. My cheap canopies didn’t stand a chance. The vibration from the wind loosened half the screws and both simply collapsed. And they acted like sails before collapsing. The family joke was me getting everyone to help move them back into place at family gatherings. This baby is over 700 lbs and rated for 100 mph winds. I cannot imagine it moving for some wimpy 40 mph breeze. I need to conjure up some Sun/rain protection, but I am beyond thrilled with it. I ordered the installation when I purchased the pergola. A precise date/time was set for the installation from emails they were coming from Back Yard Discovery. However, when the installers arrived without the pergola at the appointed hour, I realized there was a disconnect somewhere. The pergola magically arrived Friday before the 4th of July weekend. I called the installers back and darned if they didn’t come Saturday morning to install this thing. They just left. Other than signing their paperwork, I actually haven’t goner over it closely yet. But the installers were punctual, polite, and very, very efficient. This is the summer for backyard projects that I have anticipated for a long time. This pergola is key to housing my entire outside cooking world and to have it dine in time for the 4th of July makes me very happy. Thanks to everyone involved!

We bought this pergola a year ago and love it. We actually bought two of them and they were very easy to connect into one giant pergola with just a few extra leftover pieces. It is very sturdy and has held up well through a Midwest winter and rainy spring. We installed our own shade sails under the pergola for added shade and it is great. Highly recommend this product. It was not difficult to put together, instructions were clear and easy to follow. My husband and I put up two pergolas slowly over 2-3 weekends, but you could do it all in one weekend if you wanted to.

This totally transformed our backyard into a new space to entertain. The size of it gives you so much freedom and flexibility in how you want to arrange your furniture. Now I just wish we lived somewhere warmer and could use it 12 months out of the year!
