No Soylent Green here!

Sam's is the only place other than an actual butcher that sells real meat. Good cuts, good flavor, always a more reasonable price than other stores.

Unbelievably Tough

Tough as jerky. Cooked in a crock pot for 6 hours, very tough. Pressure cooked it for 30 minutes and had the same outcome. Ground it up and put BBQ sauce on it. Still wasn't edible.

Choice is a better deal than Prime

It's a really hit and miss with quality tasting steak at Sam's. These were pretty good this time. I usually buy the Choice instead of Prime because, for the money, Choice is pretty good and grills up nicely. Trust me.

Not thin, great size for grill, too!

These London Broil steaks were not thin, which is kind of what I expected since it was a double pack. No way! We cooked these on the grill after marinating them for about 3 hours, flipping ever 1/2 hour. They turned out great!

Great On The Grill

Best cut of meat to feed a whole family. I buy these two at a time. London Broil can be a little tough, but nothing my meat tenderizing hammer can't fix. I pound these out with the side of the hammer with spikes, put them in a bag with marinade, seal them up with a vaccuum sealer, and leave them in the fridge for 24 hours. The next day i throw them on the grill and slow cook them at a low temp until the edges are 135° F. I find this gives me medium well at the edges, medium towards the center on each side, and medium rare in the center. Everyone gets what they want and how they like it cooked, and I'm not checking on and timing a half dozen steaks. These tend to be very lean, so even my picky eaters don't complain. Very easy to prepare and it makes everyone happy.
