Great Purchase
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has been a great purchase. Lots of room to store for a large family. Great styling and always looks clean because it’s fingerprint resistant. Only minus is that the icemaker doesn’t make ice fast enough.
Excellent refrigerator
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love my new refrigerator. There is so much room in both the refrigerator and freezer sides. I love that there is extra storage in the doors on both sides. There are drawers in the refrigerator and freezer sides to store even more. The temperature is super easy to set. Just a simple push of the button to adjust it. The temperature is displayed so there is no guessing. One of the best features is the door alarm. It let's me know if someone hasn't shut the door all the way or if someone is just standing there taking forever to decide what they want. The fingerprint resistant design is amazing. I'm not having to wipe off fingerprints every time I turn around. The automatic ice and water dispenser make life so much easier. My son can get ice without making a mess now. I love how it looks clean and well made. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.
Not a fan of Samsung appliances!
Unfortunately May 2024 I bought 6 Samsung appliances. [Refrigerator] RS27T5200SR/AA The refrigerator works. But it doesn’t allow you to change shelf height. If you want to have things the height of a 2 liter soda or wine bottle it only fits on certain shelves on the door. The only way I can store a frozen pizza is diagonally, total space killer. The ability to move or change shelves would be amazing. I need to learn the settings but so far there have been issues with certain spots in the refrigerator being colder than others. How is ice still spraying all over the place in 2024. The exterior doesn’t really handle fingerprints well and doesn't handle hard water stains.

NOT all around cooling
i've had this refrigerator for less than a year and am on my 2nd service call for the same issue- the refrigerator is freezing my food with the temperature set to 37 deg f. the 1st time, the technician could not locate a problem with the diagnostic tools, so he just replaced the computer. he also suggested i get a surge protector for the fridge in case a power surge may have caused the issue. i did. it worked for a couple of months, and now the same thing is happening again. after reading reviews, this is an ongoing issue for multiple customers and samsung is not fixing the issue. i called the customer service line and found that the warranty is a repair warranty only.

Perfect fit

I love the side by side and have plenty of room to store fresh and frozen foods and easy to see everything I have. It keeps my food so fresh and is easily programmable.

The sleek new look of this side by side had me at hello...and with its features, price, capacity, along with the Samsung reputation, I knew I couldn’t go wrong! Good fridge/freezer, terrible ice/water dispenser
it cools fine, has good storage space. very energy efficient. love having recessed door handles. but the ice and water dispenser is the pits. it takes forever to dispense a glass of ice. there is about a three second delay before the first ice cube comes out. it takes about 15 seconds to fill a tervis cup with ice, and another 15 seconds to finish filling with water. many times, after you let off the ice dispenser lever, it spits out one to three more ice cubes. but the biggest complaint is that there is no light on the dispenser area. even with the kitchen light on, it's very hard to see how much ice or water is in the glass. never again will i buy a fridge with no lighted dispensing area.

Never purchase a Samsung Refrigerator

Buyer beware: Fridge has a flaw that if you loose power, once power is restored, the fridge may or may not power back on. Recently I lost power while away on vacation (outage was only for roughly 20 minutes). I came back home to a fridge and all of its contents lost as the fridge never turned back on. I contacted Samsung support, a tech come out to the house and explained to me this is the normal operation of the fridge. If the power doesn’t come back on after a power outage, there’s a process to restore the fridge which involves unplugging the fridge from the power outlet…. There needs to be some sort of remedy to the issue, my fridge is still under warranty, however I’m now outside the window to return the product to the store it was purchased from.

Fantastic fridge
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Oh my goodness! What a marvelous new appliance. This thing is huge and so spacious inside. I can buy a month's worth of food to put in here. We are so happy to have a beautiful new appliance that combines beauty with outstanding performance. Included with all the storage space, is all the many shelves and compartments Samsung included to allow separation of items. Now our food can be sorted and stored more efficiently and properly. The stainless steel and finger print resistance is such a great option. And don't let me forget the water and ice dispenser. These two features we did not have before and its so convenient to have ice and water so convenient. Thank you Samsung. We highly recommend.
Elegant and spacious
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have not had a side by side refrigerator in ages and i was very skeptical to switch from a four door to a two door. Interestingly, i was pleasantly surprised. The interior has super smooth glass shelves that allow them to be fully utilized for stacking items. The door shelves are very sturdy and allow for a great assortment of items to be stored there. Large bottles of juice and even smaller condiments fit nicely. The freezer section was where i was most pleased, the shelving is very strong and sturdy. I was able to pack in all my meats and frozen vegetables each in their own section. Spacing is wonderful. The exterior of the fridge has a beautiful smooth finish. It is easy to clean and most importantly keep clean! The handle to open the doors is the best part! There are no handles. There are cutouts in the frame of the door which allow your hand to easily open and close them. I would highly recommend this refrigerator for its design, spacing, finish and well thought out capacity. I am actually a little sad at not getting it sooner. One more interesting point is it seals in the temperature of the inside and does not allow for temperature decrease which keeps items fresh for longer.
