Ice

if you have a family and everyine loves ice stay away!!! we are a large family and once 2 or 3 of us get ice everyone else is out of luck. it does not produce a lot of ice and the bucket for the ice is very small. we are always buying bags of ice and leaving them in the freezer. we have had it for mess then 2 years and already had to have samsung come out and fix the ice maker.

For the ice maker to operate properly, water pressure of 30 to 120 psi (206 to 827 kPa) is required. If the refrigerator is installed in an area with low water pressure (below 30 psi / 206 kPa), you can install a booster pump to compensate for the low pressure. Never purchase a Samsung Refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Would give 0 stars, if possible. Buyer beware: Fridge has a flaw that if you loose power, once power is restored, the fridge may or may not power back on. Recently I lost power while away on vacation (outage was only for roughly 20 minutes). I came back home to a fridge and all of its contents lost as the fridge never turned back on. I contacted Samsung support, a tech come out to the house and explained to me this is the normal operation of the fridge. If the power doesn’t come back on after a power outage, there’s a process to restore the fridge which involves unplugging the fridge from the power outlet…. There needs to be some sort of remedy to the issue, my fridge is still under warranty, however I’m now outside the window to return the product to the store it was purchased from.

Great size

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my dream fridge! French doors. Water/Ice maker! Big. It's very big. Some positives, on the fridge side, are the large door shelves. They can hold 2 gallons each, which helps save room on the shelves for food. It has two large drawers that keep the veggies and fruits nice and crispy. It also stays at a nice cold 37 to keep all the food fresh. I like the door warning tht goes off after it's been open for 2 mins. Helps me keep the kids out. On the freezer side, it has lots of room as well. The drawer helps to keep the loose things together and out of the way. I haven't had any issues with the ice maker/water thing. It keeps us in fresh ice which is nice. Overall, this is a fantastic fridge and great for a family.

Nice features & great water dispenser

We’ve had this fridge for a little over a year. It’s a good fit for our kitchen. We did have to replace the ice maker less than a year into owning it. We’ve not had any issues since. Theres a signal when you need to replace the water filter which is really nice.

Cool Refrigerator

modern design. plenty of cooling space with various shelves, drawers and bins. filtered water with cubed and crushed ice works fine. i like that there are no handles on the doors...gives it a sleek look. digital temperature control. fingerprint resistant stainless steel.

Poor quality, cheap feel and faulty design.

Bought a house with this fridge in it and it sucks. I brought my other samsung 3 door fride from other house and use both; Mine for bottom freezer and light weight quiet closing door and this one just for basic stuff and water and ice. No water tray on bottom, freezer door always SLAMS shut, never closes quietly, other side door opens out and swings few times on its own. It's not even loaded, just few soda bottles. The fridge is tilted 5 degrees backwards but that doesnt help. Overall, very cheap design, poor quality, the right bottom shelf is always freezing whatever you put there (the vent is too low) and the water tube under the dispenser grows mold after a while so i have to wipe it with a towel every time i use it!

Ice dispenser does not dispense

nohin like a new refrigerator that we cant get the ice to dispense. makes great ice but had to call samsung for repair. repair service was wonderful. they are going,to,order a new door which should fix the issue. once the ice dispenses, we will be totally satisfied.

Fingerprint resistance is not true

per the samsung rep, this makes 120 ice cubes/ day, thats 5 ice cube per/hr. so the storage capacity is small. the ice dispenser lags, need to give it breaks in between filling up an 8oz cup. the fingerprint resistance dont work, even after washing your hands. save your money and get a regular fridge. we decided on this fridge ,because of how sleek it looked and the fingerprint resistant. we bought a samsung washer and dryer,on the same day as the fridge. hopefully the washer and dryer features, it says it has, actually exist. there was no incentive to buy all samsung. we chose samsung because we assumed the appliances would be like the samsung phone technology,exceptional features and quality

Not worth the money

The ice maker takes so long to actually dispense ice. It doesn’t really “crush” the ice when you select that option. My big issue is that it says it’s stainless steel, but NO magnets stick to my fridge doors. I’ve tried different ones just to make sure I’m not crazy. The weird thing is, I have other stainless steel appliances and the magnets stick to them just fine. So I have no way of hanging anything on the fridge (other than tape) and my kids can’t play with the fridge alphabet magnets or anything similar. It’s a shame bc I love displaying my kids’ artwork and pictures.

Nice looking fridge, overall ok

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a nice looking refrigerator. The filter is easy to change. Temperature seems pretty even throughout. Space could be better utilized. I'm not a huge fan of side-by-side as compared with French doors on top and freezer on the bottom. I miss my old fridge. Besides that, the ice maker releases ice very slowly, so it can be annoying to fill up a large cup. Otherwise, the fridge is fine.
