bought the refrigerator 5/3/2020. after two months the ice maker froze up. had to thaw it out. then the freezer was causing freezer burn on everything. after about 6 months the ice maker froze up again. we figured out you can’t do the crushed ice. can only do regular. very disappointing since one of the reasons we bought it was for the crushed ice. on 5/25/2021 refrigerator and freezer go out completely. only had for one year. bought the extended warranty on it. it is now 6/18 and the issues to get it fixed is ridiculous. i do not recommend this.

We are so happy to have a beautiful new appliance that combines beauty with outstanding performance. Included with all the storage space, is all the many shelves and compartments Samsung included to allow separation of items. Now our food can be sorted and stored more efficiently and properly. The stainless steel and finger print resistance is such a great option. And don't let me forget the water and ice dispenser. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this in the summer and it great especially for the price. Lots of storage and space on the inside. 2 things I would change. The spout the water comes out is small so you have to make sure you get your bottles in the right spot or you will miss the container. Next there is no light where the water comes out so at night you cannot see.

the ice maker on this model was absolutely the slowest when new (twice daily). slowly became worse and has finally stopped. it will fill and freeze but just stop dropping. a counter top ice maker will be less expensive than a service call and i can't find a schematic online.

bought at the height of the pandemic when my ge fridge died. things i like: the looks, the color and how quiet it is. things i don't like: black "stainless" looks awesome but is beginning to flake off, ice maker is impossible to use without having ice everywhere, no light on door, shelves are not adjustable, and recently noticed that the doors get rather warm on the outside which affects the ice maker by melting refreezing and then getting jammed

So far this fridge is living up to the Samsung name, keeps food cold like it is supposed to do and I now have my built in water and ice dispenser :-) A+++

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are very happy with our new Samsung side-by-side refrigerator. It's a really big fridge in terms of storage space. I'm really happy about the depth and how much I can fit on each shelf. In addition, the door has 4 shelves that allow me to house my many bottles of dressing, sauces, marinades, etc. Each shelf is large enough to fit a gallon of milk and I was really happy to see that they didn't bother with an egg carton or butter flip top shelf like my old refrigerator had - it was a waste of space IMO. The freezer has a lot of storage too but not as many shelves in the door because of the ice maker. The ice maker sits inside in the door and appears relatively small in terms of how much ice it can hold. It has one drawer at the very bottom. The All-around cooling works very well. After delivery, we were able to load food into it after only a couple hours. And I LOVE the inset handles on the doors! So sleek and pretty!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Refrigerator is a major improvement from our last refrigerator. We had a regular top/bottom refrigerator. With his one, we gained a lot of space, especially in the freezer area. I can almost fit the whole month worth of food in the freezer and barely have to use the deep freezer we have in our basement. I do the primary kitchen cleanup so I was happy to see that the refrigerator is fingerprint resistant. That was one of my biggest fears when purchasing a black stainless steel refrigerator. I thought I was going to spend a lot of time wiping and polishing it to keep it looking good. I was happy to learn that wasn’t the case. The guys that came were friendly. They brought it in without the doors and installed them once the refrigerator was set in place. I was happy about that because that avoided any unnecessary scratches or damage. This is a beautiful refrigerator that I have already recommended to other people.
