I love everything about this trash can! Since I bought it a couple of months ago I haven’t had to clean it once! Also, more trash can fit into each bag since the seal that holds bag in place is so good! You really get the most out of every bag! The only thing that I don’t like is how touchy the sensors are. Every time we walk past the kitchen can it opens and closes but I still haven’t had to replace the batteries at least. It can be annoying tho, which is why I didn’t give it the full 5 stars.

Tried contacting customer service to ask if I can just return the one can for replacement. Got nowhere! Guess I have no choice but to send them both back for refund.

It works beautifully, no problems yet. It took a while to arrive but it was probably because I ordered it very close to Xmas. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase.

We were truly impressed with the quick and soft opening/closing of the lids when they were working. Replaced the batteries on both units but still not working. Company requires you to PAY for shipping the broken unit for replacement (that would be around $45 for both on shipping!!). This has been a bad purchase for us and would suggest others to avoid buying this product. We still use them but it is very inconvenient to do so - you have to grab, pull & hold the lid with one hand (it will not stay FULLY open if let go) and use your other hand to throw in the trash. So far everything has worked fine. I can tell that the batteries will not last too long. It is not the most sturdy can I have ever seen, but is adequate. The soap dispenser works fine too-also getting the kids to wash hands! It needs some weight in the bottom. So I will keep it filled and that should work.

Sometimes if you need to have the lid open for longer than just throwing something in the trash it will try and close on you which is annoying. Like if you are clearing food out of a pan or something like that. Biggest complaint i have is the mismatch in battery types. The large cans use "C" batteries, why do the little cans use "D" batteries? Seriously, just make them use the same battery type so i don't have to go purchase two different types of batteries. And really the lid on the small can is pretty lightweight does it really need "D" batteries? I haven't needed a "D" battery in ages, nothing I own uses them except for this now.

I didn't abuse it in anyway...just normal use. The first plastic ring broke 2 months ago, and the second at 6 months. Now the lid doesn't latch on to the gears properly. They have a 1 year warranty, but I don't think it will cover that. That piece of the unit should really be made out of metal and not plastic. Plus, the motor started acting strange, but I hard to tell if that is an issue without the lid properly latched on. I love this unit so much...until now. I am truly disappointed.
Breaks for normal use.

Fortunately I was able to Pop the 1 big one back into place, but there is still 1 little ding I couldn't pop out. Wherever you place it, make sure it's not a place where People walk by it all the Time, for it WILL open up when you Do walk by--Every Time!
