I love everything about this trash can! Since I bought it a couple of months ago I haven’t had to clean it once! Also, more trash can fit into each bag since the seal that holds bag in place is so good! You really get the most out of every bag! The only thing that I don’t like is how touchy the sensors are. Every time we walk past the kitchen can it opens and closes but I still haven’t had to replace the batteries at least. It can be annoying tho, which is why I didn’t give it the full 5 stars.

Having recently moved and been under a lot of stress, i was gong to simple return the cans to Walmart and say, "forget it." However, my fiance pushed the dent out so it's now hardly noticeable. The cans work great. We use the larger in our kitchen and the smaller in our bathroom. It’s so nice not to have to touch the lid. The sensor won’t close on your hand if it takes you longer shoving something in better. This can is the same price or less as others it’s size but come with a free small sensor trash can that we use in our office. The large one comes with a switch to turn the sensor off and on. So if you go away a few weeks you can save your batteries. Large can takes C size and small takes D size.
Two for the price of one! Nice cans; great value!

Fits perfectly at the end of our cabinets. Looks great with our stainless appliances. It does take a few seconds for it to open once it detects the motion, took a little bit to get use to. You can easily hide the bag and love the "open" feature when I am cooking. Still have the original batteries in and it has been several months. I didn't need the small one so I sold it on Ebay for a great price, extra bonus.

Both are still in great working condition!!! They seem to be quite energy-efficient too because I haven't needed to replace the batteries yet. I would recommend for anyone!! They are very nice quality and look much more expensive than they are... so that can be our little secret... You're welcome!!

The stainless steel construction is sturdy, looks good, and cleans up easily. The touchless automatic lid opening and closing feature is both practical and fun. The tight sealing lid locks in unpleasant odors. We get about 6-9 months use from a set of batteries. This was a great value from Walmart with the additional 2 gallon trash can ordered on site to store.

After communicating with Nine Stars for about a month, I returned the lid at my own expense. They cannot be reached by email or phone and have not even returned my defective lid. However: the status light on the lid of the 13-gallon can blinks continuously to let you know that everything is okay. Ordered it online, picked it up, brought it home, put batteries in it (which was easy), said "huh", verified in the enclosed documents that the blinking is normal, removed the batteries, and repackaged it. Will be returning tomorrow morning. I didn't even take it completely out of the plastic bag.

The large one is tall enough to allow you to fill up the bag completely and it has an inner ring that keeps the bag aligned and up. It should be noted that each can uses a different size battery. I had made the assumption that they both used "D", but am quite happy. I purchased mine about 2.5 months ago and I'm still on the first set of batteries. The small can is a great size for a bathroom. Mine is triggered by my dogs quite often as they walk by, but they are slowly getting used to it. I'd buy this set again and encourage my friends to as well.
