Very disappointed. Bacon is not thick sliced. It fried very poorly and instead of bacon grease, a milky watery white liquid came from it at first. It took forever to get crispy. I was actually a little concerned about eating it.

This bacon is always good but the online pick up experience was bad. The bacon was not airtight sealed or vacuum sealed and I don’t notice until I got home 50 minutes away.

Been getting the Smithfield bacon 3packs, but they are now sliced so thin that we had to find an alternative. The “Black Label Thick Cut” was that alternative. It's not your traditional thick cut thickness, but more like a medium cut, which is way thicker than the Smithfield. It's also has better distribution of meat to fat than other bacons.

Love this bacon. Had a B&B when younger and used this bacon all the time. Then couldn't get it for a while. Then the last time I shopped at Sam's it was there, Thanks for bringing it back. Now if you would just get the bags of frozen pasta salad, the Krueazst muffin mix, and the large chicken pot pie back I would be so happy.

This is the best quality bacon I've purchased. I would not let the large quantity stop you from buying it because you can always divide it and put it quality storage bags. We use our vacuum sealer, which is great because it will keep the bacon fresh for weeks without having to freeze it.

I opened a package of this bacon tonight to use in a BLT salad. The first slice was almost as thick as a thin-cut pork chop, and the rest of the slices were so thin they fell apart as I pulled them out of the package. I baked the bacon and it cooked unevenly - some pieces were done way before others, due to the inconsistent thickness of the bacon. So disappointing.

This bacon is reliably delicious and high quality. It is a must in our home. We bake it and it comes out better than any bacon on the market. I am a teacher and I eat breakfast and lunch in my class and this is perfect for bacon and egg or BLT sandwiches.

Bacon Lovers, like myself, will truly lust over this fat pack of thickly cut, Black Label bacon. I don't want to get too crazy on here, but it is so fresh and thick, I wanted to cook it all at once. Sams Club sells this for an amazing price. This is also great for having guest over for the weekend! Cook it in the morning, and munch on it all day!

I've always been a Wright's bacon fan, but it now has so much fat and moisture that it just isn't good anymore in my opinion. So, I tried the Hormel Black Label. Although it is not as thick as Wright's, it has much more actual meat and cooks evenly. It also freezes well. Since there are only 2 of us, I freeze about 10 slices per package. It has not affected the taste or texture. My husband immediately noticed the difference and said it tasted much better.

It is very thick bacon. It also has a lot of fat and cooks down a lot. Taste is great. What bacon doesn't taste great? But I had a house full of kids and since this was so thick there were fewer pieces of bacon to go around. Probably go for something just a little less thick next time.
