This is the best quality bacon I've purchased. I would not let the large quantity stop you from buying it because you can always divide it and put it quality storage bags. We use our vacuum sealer, which is great because it will keep the bacon fresh for weeks without having to freeze it.

I opened a package of this bacon tonight to use in a BLT salad. The first slice was almost as thick as a thin-cut pork chop, and the rest of the slices were so thin they fell apart as I pulled them out of the package. I baked the bacon and it cooked unevenly - some pieces were done way before others, due to the inconsistent thickness of the bacon. So disappointing.

This product has been consistently excellent quality. We have always made a great impression for our diners! The price is reasonable and per serving it’s easier that managing thin cut bacon. Usually we pan it on parchment and cook with a convection oven. Strips are consistent providing consistent cook times!

I did not like this bacon. It cooked either too raw or too burnt. I couldnt find a perfect medium for it. Maybe its me. Maybe I suck. But I've cooked other bacon and it cooked evenly perfectly. This bacon did not cook evenly for me. Very sad because its such a great deal!!!!

Been getting the Smithfield bacon 3packs, but they are now sliced so thin that we had to find an alternative. The “Black Label Thick Cut” was that alternative. It's not your traditional thick cut thickness, but more like a medium cut, which is way thicker than the Smithfield. It's also has better distribution of meat to fat than other bacons.

I bought this yesterday and I tried to cook it in the microwave just like it said on the box and the first slide of bacon was a terrible disaster. Now I am trying my George former grill and it's not that bad. You could never get the picture on the box. This is not my first encounter with this situation with you bacon.

Bought two three pound packages at my local Sams store in Springfield Il. to add a little extra smoke to it in my smoker for the holidays. Decided to try some of it way to salty! Been trying to wash it in some water prior to cooking it seems to help a little but still very disappointed.

When we purchased this Bacon we thought we were getting a THICK CUT as it says on package NO I don't think it could be cut any thinner. It was ok to cook up as scraps for salads but for a BLT or Breakfast NO way too thin I didn't want to chance it on the grill as I usually cook Bacon

We always buy this bacon at Sam’s Club. It comes in a big package, perfect for the whole family, and lasts a week or longer. Honestly, the quality depends on the cuts, so try to pick one with less fat and more meat. I like the taste, and the stripe thickness is just right.

I've always been a Wright's bacon fan, but it now has so much fat and moisture that it just isn't good anymore in my opinion. So, I tried the Hormel Black Label. Although it is not as thick as Wright's, it has much more actual meat and cooks evenly. It also freezes well. Since there are only 2 of us, I freeze about 10 slices per package. It has not affected the taste or texture. My husband immediately noticed the difference and said it tasted much better.
