This brand of bacon is delicious! I just never thought I had to check dates on products in Sam's. When I got home and began to portion out my daily use of the bacon, it smelled horrible. That's when I noticed the bacon had expired three days prior to my purchase. Hormel Black Label, Sam's caused the four stars instead of five stars.

I have been purchasing this bacon for a long time and it is always been very good. The last time I purchased it, it was so salty that I had to soak it in water before we could eat it. This time, it is cut irregularly, it is tough, and it is very salty. I don’t know what Hormel is doing to their bacon but it is terrible and I will not buy it again.

Good bacon for cooking in oven.

It lasts almost as long as the 3 pack does and we enjoy it much more.

Crispy when fried in air fryer.

Not as thick as i would like it, but good
