Great choice when stocking up on bacon. Tastes great and easy to separate for multiple servings. Hormel is great tasting for quick meals. Fries up crispy. Excellent value.

I have been purchasing this bacon for a long time and it is always been very good. The last time I purchased it, it was so salty that I had to soak it in water before we could eat it. This time, it is cut irregularly, it is tough, and it is very salty. I don’t know what Hormel is doing to their bacon but it is terrible and I will not buy it again.

I would not have picked out that package my self. Too much green and not much hart. If they were all like that then the shopper had no choice, I would have passed them up for something ease I did not waste all the greens I put them in my chicken soup! .

This brand of bacon is delicious! I just never thought I had to check dates on products in Sam's. When I got home and began to portion out my daily use of the bacon, it smelled horrible. That's when I noticed the bacon had expired three days prior to my purchase. Hormel Black Label, Sam's caused the four stars instead of five stars.

I have tried many brands including one's that are nitrate/nitrite free, humanely raised, grass fed but after eating any of those brands, my ankles were swollen. I was extremely hesitant to buy this bacon especially because there's so much of it. I was wrong, the stuff is great, delicious, meaty... I'm really surprised. I am one that will pay more for something of better quality or doesn't have negative effects on me... and my family. We have no complaints other than the fact that I need to buy more... When were actually trying to cut back on meat. This is one of our guilty pleasures next to chocolate. I really don't get the negative reviews because this has both great taste and does fry up nicely. I do not like bacon stri frozen into bits and if rise up so much nicer more even.
