I have gotten this in the past and it was really good. But the last 2 times that I have gotten it, the bacon wasn’t good. So I won’t be purchasing it again

Better price, better quality to buy this in bulk. When I bring this home, I cut the 3 pound package into separate 1 pound sections, then put those into Freezer Gallon Ziplock bags to store in the freezer.

Hormel black label bacon is great most of the time. Occasionally, there are some odd cut slices in the 3# pack, but luckily that’s the exception- it’s not stopped me from purchasing it regularly

Not thick cut. This bacon was very thin not thick cut as labeled. I buy this often and the bacon is good but if you wanted the thick cut as I prefer this was not it.

Used this 3# package to feed 19 people for brunch. Everyone said they really liked the bacon. I baked it in the oven, then transferred to electric skillet, keeping it warm.

I’ve tried many different brands of bacon and—duh—I like them all. But this is my favorite. The thick cut is perfect for baking it in the oven and it tastes great.

The best bacon in my opinion short of going gourmet. If you paw thru and find a really lean package sometimes you won't get enough grease to cook with. Very tasty but like everything nowadays is getting very expensive.

Thickness of slices ranged from see through to nearly a quarter inch. Likely reflects loose parts in the sliciing rquipment that could lead to metal shards in the product.

Excellent quality. I cook partially ahead of time in an aluminum foil wrapped cookie sheet. I throw away the grease and wrap the bacon in paper towel and freeze in a ziploc bag.

Cooks well in microwave. Tends to be a little chewy, rather than crispy. Preferred bacon is Wright’s, which is also a thick bacon sold at Sam’s. Hormel Thick Cut is good bacon, good taste, good price.
