I typically but one pound at a time. As I'm a carnivore, I figured it won't go bad. But, I forgot about having to separate it and store it to keep fresh for a few days. Other than that, it is good.

I have gotten this in the past and it was really good. But the last 2 times that I have gotten it, the bacon wasn’t good. So I won’t be purchasing it again

This was surprisingly not very good. The cuts were all so different and there was so much fat that almost remained after cooking. Disappointing purchase and not as good as the name implies.

Extremely satisfied with the bacon. It was very lean cut without a lot of fat between the meat. The slices were a nice thickness - not too thick or thinned. Wonderful taste too.

Thickness of slices ranged from see through to nearly a quarter inch. Likely reflects loose parts in the sliciing rquipment that could lead to metal shards in the product.

I thought this was the bacon we usually get which is precooked. This is raw bacon and must be cooked before eating. Please be aware that this is alot of bacon to cook.

This bacon was far too salty. It overpowered the actual taste if the bacon. I could even taste the excessive salt on my eggs that I cooked afterwards in the same pan.

Good deal at the time I purchased it. Would recommend having it package in 1 pound packages because I don't like having meats open in the fridge for very long and with just 2 people it takes a little while to consume.

I love this size! I do take it home and portion it down to 3, 1-lb containers and then freeze. I have been able to use this in every way I would typically use bacon (either by itself or in recipes). Appreciate that Sams is supplying this!

Cooks well in microwave. Tends to be a little chewy, rather than crispy. Preferred bacon is Wright’s, which is also a thick bacon sold at Sam’s. Hormel Thick Cut is good bacon, good taste, good price.
