No beef beef!

Recently ground beef has changed. We used to buy 80/20 ground beef that had great color and taste. It seems now it has a duller color and not as tasty. 88/12 has great color and taste like "the old days". My only "beef" with the packaging is the quantity: 4.8 pounds typically. Why not 5 pounds even?

Good quality at a reasonable price

I've always been a big fan of Sam's meat department, and even though I've had to cut back on how much meat I consume, this is a regular purchase for me. I usually break it up into several packages ... a couple 1/2 lb, a couple 1 lb, and some pre-made burgers with cheese, onion, and seasoning, then vacuum pack them and toss them into the freezer. Very handy.

High-quality and delicious

I bypassed ground beef on sale at a local grocery store because it looked so fatty to me. I paid more per pound for this high-quality meat, but I believe it was worth it. It was lean, and made wonderful sloppy Joe's for my family.

Ground beef is great quality.

We love this ground beef. We buy this package and divide it into four bags to freeze. For quick thaw and cooking. Sometimes we cook and scramble the whole package and freeze for soups later.

Freshest ground beef anywhere

The best ground beef anywhere… I only buy from Sam's Club. I know it's always fresh. It always tastes perfect. Love the fact that it's ground fresh in the store.

Members Mark 88/12 Ground Beef

Members Mark Ground Beef is of excellent quality and an awesome value in our opinion. We have not found a better option anywhere. We are loyal Sam’s Club Members because of the quality of their fresh meats, beef being a favorite choice in our kitchen. Ground Beef is so versatile that you can have many different dishes without feeling you’ve had the same old meal day after day. We enjoy a big juicy burger all dressed up on a nice fresh bun one day and that same burger cooked in onions and smothered in delicious brown gravy to pool over some yummy whipped potatoes and maybe corn on the cob another day. And don’t forget spaghetti with scrumptious burger meatballs and crisp salad with hot bread with butter. So many great recipes to try, and Sam’s burger is delicious to start with!!

Worth the price

Excellent quality, i really noticed the difference compared to the grocery store where i last bought ground beef. The package resulted in more meals than the 5 pounds from the neighborhood grocery and it tasted better

Big package of fresh hamburger.

Always get & stopped cuz got bone crunchies a few times, tried again after months, hamburger was real good and great way to divide into 1 lb for freezing & burgers. Pricing was pretty good for qty.

Member's Mark 88% Ground Beef

Generally good value. Good quality. However, I like to separate it into five 1-pound servings, and I've found that I am not able to get five 16-ounce servings out of a five-pound package. My scale could be a little off. And of course, it keeps getting more expensive.
