The X-Ice tires are just excellent. I've had several sets over the years living in Calgary. The winters here are no joke and these tires are super capable on both snow and ice, they wear nicely and they're super quiet. Can't say I've ever driven a better winter tire.

These came stock on my 22 Tacoma. I'm at almost 3 years on these tires with 65k miles. From the look of them I could definitely go another 15k easily. They have preformed so well in the mid Atlantic region I decided to get them again on a new set of wheels. Quite smooth and fantastic in the rain. I'd recommend them to anyone that doesn't need a offroad tire.

Comfortable, quiet, and stable. I install tires for a living and this is the most popular tire that my shop sells for large SUVs and pickup trucks. I finally decided to try them for myself and they are the best tires I have ever had on my truck. They have incredible my fuel economy by a little over half a mile per gallon and the comfort it unmatched.

My wife bought her 2014 Ford Edge new....it now has 140,000 miles on it....and has the original Michelin Latitude tires on it....just goes to show that proper rotation intervals and weekly tire pressure checks help....will be the tire we replace with....outstanding.

I've been buying Michelin tires for as long as I can remember. Always had good luck with them. But this new Defender LTX m/s2 Tire is so hard and it creates a rumble/road whine in my truck, especially on Country Blacktop roads. I got a 2024 truck that I'm really proud of but these tires are probably the worst michelins I've ever owned. The dealer said I can swap them but in my size 275-60-20 there's nothing to choose from but a more aggressive tire( no way). I'm hesitant to switch brands but I may have to do that at a dear cost to my pocketbook. ( Dealer has said he would swap tires out for another Michelin but they dont make my size in less aggressive tires as they have really pulled back on choices).Shame on you Michelin for leaving this tire size absent on your other popular quiet tires and making such a hard tire just to get higher lingevity ratings!

Not an upgrade for the defender ltx ms. I am very disappointed and feel I wasted money. The outer lugs are closed now which changes their capabilities. The compound doesnt hold as well in water and snow/ice. Maybe you will get more miles and on dry pavement they are decent but that isn't what these tires are supposed to be...and at such a price. I won't purchase these again and will find another brand for next tires. I bought online because I had to finance and trusted michelin to not mess up a great tire...these should have a different name...they do not act like ltx ms....not at all. Very disappointed.

I've been generally pleased with the performance of these tires—they handle well in both wet and dry conditions, provide a quiet and comfortable ride, and inspire confidence on the road. However, I was disappointed with the tread life. Despite careful and consistent driving, my set needed replacement at around 37,000 miles, well short of the advertised 60,000-mile expectation. Since these came as OEM equipment on my vehicle, there was unfortunately no warranty support available. Overall, great performance, but potential buyers should be aware of the faster-than-expected tread wear.

Tires are on a 2016 F-150 King Ranch. So far they have proved to provide a "softer ride" that what they replaced. Traction under wet conditions (torrential down pour with flooded roads) has been very good, no hydroplaning. I see to be getting improved fuel mileage. Handling was a little vague. It is too early to say anything about durability.

This is the 3rd set of this set of tires that I have purchased for this truck. All of them have given me more miles that the warranty will cover and the handling and comfort have always been top notch. I originally purchased them because i was told the noise was very low. This has been true, I hear very little road noise. That's saying a lot because this truck has been driven across the country 3 times.

I HAVE BEEN A MICHELIN CUSTOMER FOR YEARS AND HAVE HAD MANY SETS OF DEFENDER LTX TIRES . ALWAYS PLEASED WITH THE RIDE AND COMFORT OF THE TIRES. THIS IS MY FIRST SET OF DEFENDER LTX M/S 2'S. TIRES CAN'T BE BALANCED AND LOPE WHEN DRIVING. DEALER HAS SAID THERE IS NOTHING ELSE THEY CAN DO. IF I CAN'T GET ANY RESOLUTION FROM MICHELIN I WILL TAKE THEM OFF AFTER ONLY 5000 MILES OF USE AND SWITCH TO COOPER. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THESE NEW 2 SERIES TIRES. HELP MICHELIN AS I HAVE BEEN A LOYAL CUSTOMER FOR DECADES.
