We bought this shed to put in the backyard for general storage. I am 74 and my wife is 70, so it took us a few days to put it together. However, it was SO easy to do simply by watching the video and following the instructions. We absolutely love it!!

The shed was delivered with 3 non transparent plastic pieces instead of the promoted transparent skylights! Screws bag ID numbers marked different than in assembly manual. Square measure is of roof and not the footprint which is 2-3 inches smaller, so footprint is not 8' x 7,5', assemble the floor plates for correct baseplate fabrication measures.

When we visited Sam's, went inside to talk about the sample shed sitting out in front. Dominique at Member Services in Lady Lake was kind enough to help us with the setting up and purchasing the product. We are now setting it up and so far, so good. The process has been relatively easy from starting the purchase, registering it and now hopefully getting it set up. Would have been great to have someone set it up for us.

I have put up a different brand of shed in the past. So I was not concerned about putting it together with my brother. This product when opened was not labeled well or at all. It took several days and lots of frustrations. It is finally together and It looks good and water tight. The product looks of good quality but the instructions and more importantly the parts like screws not being labeled made it so hard. I hope they read this and fix that issue.

The shed is a great size to put many things inside. The only problem about the shed is the hardware for the doors. Both sides don't hardly match up to get a lock on both of the doors. You have to fight it to get it on, this you shouldn't have to do. I did call Lifetime they gave me new hardware but it still does it. I have this shed even on a concrete slab, still have the problem. I think it's the doors they both have a bump where the hardware lies to make them not to match up.

The instructions in the box were COMPLETELY incorrect and seem as if they were miss-printed. It was almost as if I was being pranked. The page numbers lined up correctly but the instruction steps inside were simply.....missing? For the section with putting up walls, once the instruction manual got to the portion where one side of walls was upright, it moved on to a totally different set of instructions and never returned to wall installation. Again, page numbers still lined up so its not as if I was missing pages, the manual was missing steps. Never in all my time of putting things together have I seen the instructions be so wrong. The time it took to finally realize the instructions were incorrect, find instructions online, and continue working, was probably 1-2 hours. In the attached photo, you can see that it goes directly from page 48-49, 7.9 is the last step you see on page 48 and page 49 goes onto section 8. The actual instructions go all the way to step 7.15. This is only 1 example of this mistake, they were throughout.

I both this shed and assembled it easily enough. No issues getting everything to fit other than some minor alignment issues common to prefabricated mass-produced items of this nature that were easily correctable. My main issue with this shed is that I installed it on a day that ended with 40mph winds in high heat (102º F). The combination was enough to bow the side walls within a few hours. Since the side walls only have thin metal strips every few feet that don't connect to anything structural, the shed has nothing to help it stay rigid against sustained winds. The load of the roof and trusses sitting on the plastic causes the side walls to bow a bit under the pressure. Since I'd also ordered the extreme weather kit (stated to be compatible with "most Lifetime 8 ft. wide sheds" except the "10 ft. x 8 ft. or 15 ft. x 8 ft. Garden Buildings"), we decided to start adding that to the shed kit. The roof truss additions all went on without any issue. Where we started running into issues were with the truss support channels on the side walls. By the time we got to the front doors, it was clear the extreme weather kit wasn't intended for this model of shed. At that point I'd installed over ½ of the kit. I contacted support and they informed me the extreme weather kit DOES NOT work with this shed and will void the shed's warranty if used. I'm very disappointed with Lifetime for making a shed that was not adequately supported to begin with, then promoting the use of the extreme weather kit in wording that doesn't clearly identify which models aren't compatible and failing to say anything about voiding the warranty if used on one of those sheds.

Took two full days to assemble with an experienced DIY male. After building a level platform when assembling as instructed after roof installation doors seemed uneven. Then used shims provided and it seems good now. Will see how it weathers through summer storms!

This is an amazing little shed. It was easy to put together. I spent 7 hours by myself, no other help. I only cut my head at the very end, hit the upper cross members. There are three screws that didn't tighten up. A little hardware left over too. Put the window in the back wall so the shelf will be of no use. Looks great in the area.

Follow the instructions! No, the instructions don't seem logical since you're putting things together in what appears to be an illogical order, but it all comes together. This is definitely a two-person job. An electric drill with a screwdriver bit is a huge time saver, as are sawhorses for assembling the doors and gables. Love that there was a shelf and wall hooks included. The shed is spacious, the doors were easy to align, and it looks good in the yard.
