There's no unpleasant aftertaste. I keep a few bottles of Ensure in my work fridge and grab one when I forget to take lunch. I also keep our fridge at home fully stocked for family and guests. Both Ensure Original Strawberry and Chocolate flavors hit the spot when craving an evening treat. Ice cold right from the refrigerator is the best!

My dad, (85 years old) and I drink it everyday, I started drinking first after I got sick and I introduced it to dad after he came to live with me from Japan. Dad is taking painkiller so he does not have any appetite. He refused to eat decent meals so I explained about Ensure to him. Now he drinks Ensure 3 times a day with his small portion of food. I drink a bottle 3 times a day once after a light breakfast, at lunch especially if I have a lot of errand to run and don't have time to eat and a third one with my dinner. I recently had oral surgery and the ensure was a blessing to have on hand. Sometimes when I need a little extra I drink the ensure plus. I am very active so I need everything it gives my body.my overall feeling is more energy .I have been drinking it now for 2 years.

However, I was pleasantly surprised at the taste and , in fact, now I love it. It's awesome that something that tastes so good, is also so good for you. I drink Ensure plain and also make smoothies with it ; sometimes I mix two flavors (dark chocolate with vanilla or strawberry, for variety). I'm not a fan of swallowing pills, and love drinking my vitamins and protein in Ensure!

Her bloodwork is outstanding and she still lives alone. Obviously, her genes and other factors play into her longevity; but, she enjoys her Ensure shakes and feels and acts well.
