There is only a small amount of apple filling in the pastry.

Where is the filling?

Dry hardly any apple filling just quarter size in middle

These are fresh and very tasty.  The pastry is flaky and the apples are great.

By the time the eighth turnover was going to be consumed, it was moldy with blue mold, and had to be thrown out.  This was about a week after buying the turnovers.  You want them to remain moist, but not become moldy.

Very good turnovers. Flaky pastry, chunks of apples in the filling, just what you expect in a turnover. I have tried others which had no solid pieces of apple. There is no icing drizzle on top which I prefer because the icing is too sweet. These turnovers are just like the ones grandma made.
