I believe this one of the worst items I've gotten from Sam's Club. The pastry is soggy, there is not a lot of apple filling, and it has an aftertaste.

They looked so delicious but when you bite into one, you don't find any filling until you get to the middle and even then it's a very small amout, not even a spoonful. Kind of disappointing. I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing.

These looked great when purchased, puffy and lightly browned with just a touch of sugar crystals on top. By the next day, they had flattened down to half their size. Warming them in the oven only slightly restored their flaky texture on the top layers. Underneath that, they were soggy and tough. They were very light, but only because all of them were very skimpy on filling.

Addicting. If you have a history of addictions, call your sponsor before buying. ;} Like the cherry better than the apple, but cherry is very hit-or-miss at our location, mostly miss, so usually end up with the apple. "Necessity" purchased virtually every trip, except when Sams is totally out.

Used to love these, as well as the cherry. The last 2 we received were extremely chewy, and hard to eat. No light and flaky layers. Dough was very tough, even after warming them up. Fruit was just okay. Pains me to say it, but we won’t be wasting our money on these again. Had to throw out the remaining ones.

I've been purchasing apple turnovers from the Sam's Club on Woodmen location on a regular basis. In the last several purchases, however, I start biting some hard substances in the turnovers in consistent manner. These small pieces look like parchment paper bits except much thicker, almost like thin plastic. Can't tell exactly what it is, but one thing for sure is that these are not consumable. At one point, I stopped purchasing these turnovers, but when I recently went back to purchasing these after a few months, the same substances were found. Never purchasing these again.

After 2 days getting mold.

Decent quality but better value. Little under baked so toaster oven did the job.

We have loved them for years!

Flaky however needs a little more apples.
