These were for my card club, and everyone was very excited about having them as a snack. There were many comments about Sam's turnovers being the best around. I had never tried one before. ​The taste was very good, but there was almost no filling inside mine. I would like to think that was just an unusual batch. People don't rave about something unless it's truly good, so I may have purchased some that had production issues, with the sale price being the producer's way of clearing them out. ​I have noticed that when items are on sale, manufacturers are sometimes more likely to offer less-than-perfect products (like overcooked foods or empty single-serving packets). I'll probably buy these turnovers again when they aren't on sale to give them another chance, but it would be nice if Sam's policy didn't allow factory seconds, even at a discount.

We love the Apple Members Mark turnovers from bakery area. You get a dozen in a pack. They are flakey, have alot of apple filling snd light sugary top. We stick in microwave for few seconds to warm them up. Usually I buy 2 packs because we love them. Great product, yum so good.

Light, fluffy, nice amount of apple filling! Great for dessert, coffee in the morning, or just an afternoon snack! Great value too, especially with the discounted price at the time, but still a good value for any other time! Wonderful warmed up with some ice cream!

The apple turnovers are flaky, not overly sweet and even better warmed up a little. They were $2 off so that made it even “sweeter.” You can't even buy the apples for that price! I definitely recommend them and plan on purchasing some more on our next Sam's run.

I recently tried the Sweet 'n Tart Apple turnover, and it was a disappointment. Despite the name, the turnover wasn't sweet at all, and the flavor fell completely flat. The filling lacked both sweetness and tartness, leaving it bland and unbalanced. The pastry itself was doughy and soft instead of flaky, and there wasn't enough apple filling to make up for the lack of flavor. Overall, it didn't deliver what the label promised, and I wouldn't buy it again.

I love me some turnovers and Apple is probably my favorite fruit for desserts. Amazing value for the amount that you get ! If it stops you in your tracks, don't hesitate , just get it ! Treat yourself to a nice crunch of sweet & flaky heaven ! Yum !

The apples in these turnovers did not total the size of my little finger for the entire turnover! They were stale tasting and I will never buy again and if they were given to me I would say NO THANK YOU!!!

The pastry has a good taste, but most of the pastry was empty or barely had a smear of filling. It was disappointing. I ended up splitting the pastry and adding some filling to eat them. I did enjoy the crispy, flaky crust. Its good warmed and with ice cream. They also freeze wellfor a short time.

Yummy, just not enough filling (ALWAYS a complaint of mine). I love that the "crust" has sugar, wind is very light, just (again) too much bread for the filling. I had a good expiration date and placed them in a sealed container but by the time I got to the last 2 (just me eating them) they had mold.... I know, I know it's because they have a lot of sugar, but still, they should have lasted a week. BUT, for the price, I wasn't mad, just disappointed when I went to eat the last ones 😞

The Members Mark apple turnovers are an excellent breakfast pastry. We wrap them individually in aluminum foil and put them in the freezer. When we want one we take it out of the freezer, remove the foil and defrost in the microwave. We the put them into the toaster oven and bake at 350F for 5 minutes. They come out like fresh turnovers from the bakery. While they are not so great just from the package they are absolutely wonderful this way. Highly recommend.
