These apple turnovers were fantastic.
Placed in the air fryer for a few minutes before.

Apple turnovers were average. The crust was not crispy.

Good Cherry Turnovers

They didn't have enough filling. It's a lot of dry pastry in your mouth from the first bite.

Get the cherry instead

The pastry was good and flaky. The apple filling was very good

By the time the eighth turnover was going to be consumed, it was moldy with blue mold, and had to be thrown out.  This was about a week after buying the turnovers.  You want them to remain moist, but not become moldy.

Apple turnovers became moldy

These looked so good as soon as they were delivered on my table. I ate one because it looked so flakey and good and it was with just the right amount of sweetness. Then I ate another one later that day, and then another one trying to save some for the next day. The next day I ate three of them. I took the last two for Sunday breakfast. No one else in the house seemed interested in them despite how flakey and beautiful they looked. I ate all 8 of them and felt ashamed of myself for doing so. I'm afraid to buy more because I know I will eat all of them, probably all in the same day.
