I bought 4 of these batteries and they lasted 5 years and few months being used as house batteries on a Xantrex inverter/charger in my motorhome. This is despite the fact that I let the battery fill level fall far below the plates on at least 3 occasions and filled them with softened well water from my tap. The sides were bulging from overcharge for the last two years (due to continued charging on low fill) but they kept going holding a charge up until the heat this summer finally killed them. They probably wouldn't have made it near as long with the neglect in a high amp draw golf cart, but they kept my inverter going when I needed it even using the microwave or short periods. So, I bought 4 more and a few gallons of distilled water and promise to monitor the fluid level. Maybe I can get 7 or 8 years!

I have a pair of these wired in series to provide 12v to my RV. After five years of use and correct maintenance they show no signs of deterioration. They can power all the 12v systems of the RV for several days and still have juice to start the generator.

These Duracell batteries demonstrate good performance in an EZ-Go golf cart with a high speed motor. (Carts are used as main transportation in our community.) Have used them for over 4 years and they perform well. Cart is a 36 Volt cart using six 6 Volt batteries. Quality is good and batteries are priced well below other brands by over 30%. Will definitely install them in my other carts. Purchase process was online and the batteries were ready for pick-up the following morning. Very pleased with the service. Sams made sure all the terminal nuts were included. Went very smooth.

Purchased my last set of 4 Duracell GC2's back in 2008 (!) for our 32 ft Fleetwood Southwind RV. TEN YEARS LATER, they just gave up the ghost. Of course I water them every two weeks and have 260 volts of solar panel juice on the roof here in sunny Southern California to keep them always fully charged. This allows us to boondock and use all of the motorhome's appliances all day long (except AC) and have enough power left over at night to watch full sized TVs with satellite boxes (2 ea) and a CPAP machine for sleep. 430 amp hours is a lot of power for the money.

I'm on my second set of these batteries. The first set started going down when they were about 18 months old. And, by the time they were 2 years old, they were barely usable. Foolishly, I replaced them with another set of the same battery. They started going down at about 13-14 months. They are 18 months old now and I doubt that I will be able to get more than another 6 months out of them. My original set was Trojan. They lasted about 6 years. I chose the Duracell to save money. Penny wize ... pound foolish.

I used 4 of these GC2 Duracells in a commercial scissor lift. They worked well while they would keep a charge. However, I got less than 2 years life out of them. By comparison, the no-name batteries that were in the lift when I bought it (used) lasted 5 or 6 years of periodic use. The Duracells are inexpensive, by comparison, but that's of no real benefit if they must be replaced 2 or 3 times as often.

For the price these are very good batteries. No they are not Trojans but they dont cost as much as a Trojan and the dont have the special charging requirements of a Trojan. For long battery life you must properly charge AND periodically equalize charge. I use 4 of these batteries in series parallel in an RV. That means 2 of them are connected together in series to form a 12 volt battery and then those two 12 volt batteries are connected in parallel (+ to + and - to -). I My charger goes to about 14.8 volts and an equalize charge goes even high. If you are using these in your golf cart and it's a 36 volt cart you will see charge voltages of about 45 volts. A 48 volt cart using 8 of these would see around 60 to 62 volts. Read up on sulfation, stratification, equalization and know how to properly charge and care for any battery or even the best will be ruined. If you do buy Trojan's research what voltage they want that particular battery charged to as you may need a new charger to do it properly.

I bought four of these less than two years ago and they are no longer any good. In defense of the battery I have bought many of these over the years (golf cart uses six and RV uses four) and have had solid luck. The four I bought in the Spring of 2015 are all bad...used two different chargers plus the coach charger and they all read bad. The use on these batteries was fairly low and I typically kept them charged even when not in use. They stopped taking a charge late last year with an error reading on my inverter. Super disappointed! I even removed them from the coach and tried to individually charge them multiple times with two different chargers. I'll buy a different brand now!

Great Golf Cart battery. Average life in my carts are about 6 years. One of the best thing I like about this battery is that there is about 2 inches of water above the lead. Most golf cart batteries I had have to be checked constantly because just a little evaporation of the acid and the lead is exposed and causes damage. These Duracell's can go 3-4months between fills before the lead gets exposed.

i purchased 6 batteries for my golf cart in nov 2008.. after 5 years they started getting weak.. did desulfurization w/ epsom salt and they lasted another 3 years.. getting weak again. will do desulfurization again. f it doesn't work, will buy another set.. moved to house w 60 ac in 2012 and golf cart gets a lot of use all year long.. i have only good things to say about these batteries...
