Perfect for Club Car

Going on three years,these things are still performing. They run my off grid 30 foot yurt. We have had an apartment sized fridge powered since the day the batteries were connected. Our solar keeps them topped off and healthy. Don’t forget about watering these things and never discharge below 50% capacity. I think I’ll get another 2-3 years of service.

Always, always, always check the battery acid level just after you buy ANY battery. None of the eight batteries that I have bought are up to the proper level. AND, with a new battery---put in real battery acid to give it the best start in life for the longest service life. After it starts with all it was intended for, then you can top off with distilled water the rest of the time. Water vapor is what escapes and needs to be replenished as it is used. Having the right amount of sulfuric acid to start (from the battery acid (available at any auto parts store) will reduce the failures that so many report. Consider a de-sulfinator device to keep it running longer---it is worth the investment and can make a battery last twice as long.

Very Impressed With these batteries, I purchased quite a few for a solar project. When I got them home I checked the fluid as I've seen where some say the fluid level has been known to be low when new.. That wasn't the case for me, The fluid level was at the level it should be. I've also heard that they are extremely low on voltage when people purchase them,Once again that wasn't the case here, I checked all the ones after getting them home and they were all at full charge. I hooked them up to our solar equipment, they power our fridge, freezer, tv, computers every night and an 8,000 btu air conditioner a few hours on certain nights.. We are totally off-grid here.. Completely solar powered with these batteries as backup at night.. We've had them for over a year now and am pleased to say that these batteries are still working as good today as they were the day that we received them. We are highly impressed with our purchase and plan to purchase more in the near future for more projects.

I bought 2 of these in 2009 for the house batteries in our motorhome. I just replace them (10/5/2017) with 2 new ones due to becoming weak. And we are full timers in our coach. They lasted 8 1/2 years! You can't expect better than that for this price. I have recommended these to many friends and never had anyone disappointed with them.

I bought 4 of these batteries and they lasted 5 years and few months being used as house batteries on a Xantrex inverter/charger in my motorhome. This is despite the fact that I let the battery fill level fall far below the plates on at least 3 occasions and filled them with softened well water from my tap. The sides were bulging from overcharge for the last two years (due to continued charging on low fill) but they kept going holding a charge up until the heat this summer finally killed them. They probably wouldn't have made it near as long with the neglect in a high amp draw golf cart, but they kept my inverter going when I needed it even using the microwave or short periods. So, I bought 4 more and a few gallons of distilled water and promise to monitor the fluid level. Maybe I can get 7 or 8 years!

I have a pair of these wired in series to provide 12v to my RV. After five years of use and correct maintenance they show no signs of deterioration. They can power all the 12v systems of the RV for several days and still have juice to start the generator.

These Duracell batteries demonstrate good performance in an EZ-Go golf cart with a high speed motor. (Carts are used as main transportation in our community.) Have used them for over 4 years and they perform well. Cart is a 36 Volt cart using six 6 Volt batteries. Quality is good and batteries are priced well below other brands by over 30%. Will definitely install them in my other carts. Purchase process was online and the batteries were ready for pick-up the following morning. Very pleased with the service. Sams made sure all the terminal nuts were included. Went very smooth.

I used 4 of these GC2 Duracells in a commercial scissor lift. They worked well while they would keep a charge. However, I got less than 2 years life out of them. By comparison, the no-name batteries that were in the lift when I bought it (used) lasted 5 or 6 years of periodic use. The Duracells are inexpensive, by comparison, but that's of no real benefit if they must be replaced 2 or 3 times as often.

I'm on my second set of these batteries. The first set started going down when they were about 18 months old. And, by the time they were 2 years old, they were barely usable. Foolishly, I replaced them with another set of the same battery. They started going down at about 13-14 months. They are 18 months old now and I doubt that I will be able to get more than another 6 months out of them. My original set was Trojan. They lasted about 6 years. I chose the Duracell to save money. Penny wize ... pound foolish.
